Bruce Willis and wife Emma Heming Willis celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary this week amid the actor’s battle with dementia.
Emma, 45, said that the couple were ‘stronger than ever’ alongside a photo of herself and Bruce, 69, sharing a tender kiss that was shared to Instagram on Thursday.
‘Today marks our 15th wedding anniversary! And today, I can make a choice. I can wallow in sorrow or I can celebrate it,’ she wrote.
‘I call this the “remarkable reframe.” What I know is there is so much to celebrate. Our union and connection is probably stronger than ever,’ she continued.
‘We have two bright, fun and healthy daughters. We have a family unit that is built on mutual respect and admiration. And simply, I just love and adore the man I married. I’m so proud of what we have and continue to create. So, happy crystal anniversary to us!’

In 2019, the couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows in a touching backyard ceremony with their friends and family – including Bruce’s ex-wife Demi Moore.
‘On our 10th wedding anniversary we decided to renew our vows in the same place we said “I do” back in 2009. I’m so happy we did. Seize every opportunity to unite and celebrate with family and friends,’ Emma said last year.
‘Those are the moments and beautiful pockets of memories that you get to hold on to for a lifetime,’ she continued.
‘And we get to keep those memories safe and alive for the ones that might not be able to.’
It comes after Emma, 45, gushed her husband is a ‘true gentle-man’ with a ‘pure’ and ‘good’ core as she sang his praises on Instagram on Tuesday.
