Oscar-winner Emma Stone has revealed a surprising obsession – The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
The critically-acclaimed actress, 37, admitted to waiting ‘two hours in the freezing cold’ for a chance at seeing the show’s disgraced star Jen Shah at her sentencing in January 2023.
Shah was sentenced to 78 months in prison at a Manhattan courthouse after she plead guilty to wire fraud charges tied to a multimillion-dollar scheme which duped thousands of victims – many of them seniors. She has since been released following several sentence reductions.
For superfan Stone, the moment was must-watch viewing.
During an interview with W Magazine as part of The Best Performances issue, Stone made the revelation when she was asked about her favorite reality show.
‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,’ she answered. ‘I am really invested. When Jen Shah was getting sentenced in New York, my brother and I waited outside for two hours in the freezing cold just for a chance to see her. But I live in New York. We walked over there. Her getting arrested on camera was wild.’

Shah’s arrest in March 2021 was famously captured on Bravo cameras during season two of RHOSLC, cementing her place in Housewives history.
Shah initially proclaimed her innocence, even doubling down during reunion specials, but ultimately changed her plea to guilty in July 2022—months after her former assistant and co-conspirator, Stuart Smith, admitted his role.
The Housewives confession wasn’t the only topic of discussion in Stone’s interview.
She also discussed her role in the upcoming Miss Piggy film which also stars Jennifer Lawrence and Cole Escola.
But when asked if she would be playing the Jim Henson icon herself, Stone was beside herself.
‘First of all, that is the biggest insult to Miss Piggy I’ve ever heard, and I will not have her name dragged through the mud like that. Why would I play a literal star?
‘She’s the greatest. No, of course I’m not playing Miss Piggy. And neither is Jen. We pale in comparison. Are you out of your mind? Miss Piggy is playing Miss Piggy. She would be storming out right now at the mere suggestion.’
Stone was one of many stars featured in W’s 2026 Best Performances issue, which also featured George Clooney, Greta Lee, Jacob Elordi, and Jodie Foster.
Accompanying her interview was a photo shoot in which she dragged a man’s body along the floor

The glamorous reality star has had quite the downfall in recent years
And as it turns out she’s not the only Bravo fan in the group.
Clooney revealed he once consumed hours of Below Deck, a Bravo show following the lives of super yacht crew workers.
‘I went to do a speaking gig in Poland, and the only thing in English on television was a series called Below Deck,’ he told W Magazine when asked about his favorite reality show.
‘It was on a 24-hour loop, so I watched about four hours of it. I was mostly impressed by how much they kept their act together when awful people came on and wanted their toenails buffed and things like that.’

The Hollywood leading man also offered a glimpse into his life as a father.
The actor, who has twin children Ella and Alexander with wife Amal Clooney, talked introducing his son to his role of Batman.
‘Halloween’s a big holiday,’ he said when asked if his children were fans of the spooky holiday. ‘My son went as Batman. He hadn’t seen Batman yet. I always say to him, “You know I was Batman.” He’s always like, “No.” I don’t know that he knew how profound it was when he said I wasn’t Batman.
‘A couple of weeks ago, I finally showed it to him. It wasn’t great for grown-ups, but it’s great for 8-year-olds, so he loved it. My daughter, meanwhile, went as a witch. She doesn’t like all the princess stuff. She likes to be the evil witch.’

The actor dished on his acting career – along with the Hollywood stars he crushed on as a kid.

‘There’s a frog in the fountain, and there was a boy on a moped. Whatever age I was when those came out, I remember that.’
