Emily - who shares son Barney with her fiancé Alistair Garner - is the latest celebrity to join the crew of M&S ambassadors. The campaign celebrates the launch of the new Sparks loyalty programme.

'I'm looking at my accounts for the first time going, oh my God, I have a child. I've got a mortgage. I'm a grown-up now.'

She also spoke about the store's parents groups that meet regularly, saying: 'This has come at a really nice time, and given me this sense of community, since becoming a mum'

'It can be quite a lonely thing sometimes, and you sort of feel with M&S, it's a brand that has got your back.'

Emily's career has gone from strength to strength, thanks to her role in Rivals, based on the novel by Jilly Cooper, where she stars alongside and David Tennant.

Recently, it was revealed that Emily has swapped London life for a quieter village near her mother's home.

Last month it was revealed Emily and Alistair had moved to an idyllic village near her childhood home after welcoming her first child in June 2025.

A source told The Sun: 'She moved out of her family home 20 years ago but is now back living just 15 minutes away from her mum in a neighbouring village.

'It's all because of the man she fell in love with – and how he's given her the confidence to trust herself.

'She's had the biggest success of her career to date since starring in Rivals and is now living the life she truly wants.'

Daily Mail contacted Emily's representatives for comment at the time.

She recentlyshared a look inside the country cottage she has moved into after they hosted Sunday in their new pad.
