Sunday night’s NRL grand final entertainment caused a stir on social media.
The stars of the Tina, the Tina Turner Musical, took the stage, with many comparing the cover performance to something you’d see at a local RSL.
‘Looks like the NRL got their entertainment from the Rooty Hill RSL’ wrote one person on X, formerly known as Twitter.
‘This Tina Turner impersonator is something you’d see at the Rooty Hill RSL with a free standard drink coupon. F***ing tragic’ said another.
‘RSL entertainment. Can’t wait for next year’ someone else watching at home agreed.
