It’s been two weeks since Ellie Goulding released her steamiest pop video to date for her single Destiny, which features her in a series of passionate embraces with boyfriend Beau Minniear.
But this exclusive picture has sparked speculation that the couple’s own destiny may be focused on more than just the release of new music.
The Starry Eyed singer, 38, was spotted strolling along the streets of west London last week in a padded £2,950 Miu Miu jacket which hid her normally svelte frame.
It has prompted fans to wonder whether Ellie and Beau, 28, may have ‘some happy news’ – as one source put it – to share.
The couple have only been dating for around six months after the singer separated from her husband of five years, art dealer Caspar Jopling, early last year.
They are expected to make their first public appearance together on the red carpet tomorrow night when they attend The Fashion Awards at the Royal Albert Hall.
One source told The Mail on Sunday: ‘I wouldn’t be surprised if Ellie has some happy news to share.
‘She’s making a showstopping appearance at The Fashion Awards – let’s just say the appearance will be one to watch out for.’

Over the summer, Ellie posted several videos on social media of her training in a boxing ring, showing off her washboard abs in a bikini. However, she has not uploaded any selfies since September, except an interview clip where she is featured from the waist up.
And those who have watched the Destiny video point out that, while Beau appears topless, Ellie wears tailored jackets and leather trench coats which, some claim, may have been designed to hide her midriff. A spokesman for the singer declined to comment.
