Elizabeth Banks was spotted on the set of her upcoming psychological thriller DreamQuil in Los Angeles this week.
The Cocaine Bear director, 50, channeled Lucille Ball with red hair and a retro-looking red dress.
The dress had a v-neck, long sleeves and was belted at the waist. The full skirt fell to her knees and she wore black slippers on her feet.
The film also stars John C. Reilly as her husband. The story is set in the not so distant future.
Elizabeth’s character Carol signs up for a digital wellness retreat from the company DreamQuil hoping to reconnect with her husband and children.

‘Worried that she could be heading towards divorce, Carol leaps at the chance to get her life back on track by signing up for DreamQuil’s unconventional digital wellness retreat,’ Deadline reported.
‘However, things take a sinister turn upon Carol’s homecoming, and the story has been described as a cautionary tale about what happens when Artificial Intelligence and automation are integrated into our daily lives.’
Banks also recently signed on to play Nicky, the sister of Chloe, played by Jessica Biel, in The Better Sister series for Amazon Prime.
Chloe’s life seems perfect and she effortlessly balances life with her lawyer husband Adam and teenager Ethan.
Meanwhile, ‘her estranged sister Nicky struggled to stay clean and make ends meet,’ Deadline reported in a separate article.
‘However, when Adam is suddenly and brutally murdered, the prime suspect sends shockwaves through the family, laying bare long-buried secrets.’
Banks and Biel will executive producer the thriller based on Alafair Burke’s 2019 novel of the same name.
‘Beyond being an enticing thriller full of twists and turns, The Better Sister is a gripping story about family feuds and forgiveness,’ Amazon MGM Studios’ head of television Vernon Sanders said.
‘The brilliant duo of Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks are sure to bring these characters to life in the most authentic way,’ he continued.
