A moment later, she goes from strutting out of her home in a dark blue dress and high heels to slipping on a leather jacket and holding a gun.
A male voice narrating the preview explains her character, Imogen Salter, is an MI6 Agent that is ‘used in very high-level situations.’
‘But she’s known to be erratic and unpredictable,’ the man notes as a montage of her field work is shown, including the moment she tosses her phone on the street into a cup of water to stop tracking her.
Imogen is informed that she is needed to meet her ‘target’ (Marwan) in ‘a camp near the Turkish border.’
‘She’s extremely intelligent and untrustworthy,’ she’s informed.
Footage then pans to Imogen telling a man: ‘It’s my job to get her to tell me what she knows.’
‘I’ve played so many people in my life,’ Imogen admits to Marwan. ‘I don’t know where I belong anymore.’
Marwan replies: ‘We’re the same, you and I.’

During a heated argument with Marwan, Imogen reminds her that if she’s lying, she’ll ‘never’ get her ‘daughter back.’
‘You chose the life that you lead now. I did not,’ Marwan later explains.
She then asks: ‘Who said you get to decide what is good and what is evil?’
‘It’s a game of truth we’re playing,’ Imogen says. ‘The lie gets closer and closer to the truth until it’s no longer a lie.’

The trailer ends with Imogen challenging her as she questioned: ‘So, am I telling the truth? Or am I lying?’
Alongside Moss and Marwan, the cast includes Josh Charles and Dali Benssalah.
The miniseries was written Steven Knight — who is known for other work such as Peaky Blinders and Great Expectations.
The Veil will begin airing two episodes on the premiere date, next month, on April 30, and will continue to air weekly on Tuesdays for a grand total of six episodes.
On Wednesday, Moss, 41, shared a poster for the series to her main Instagram page
Last month, Moss opened up about her role in the international spy thriller at the Television Critics Association panel, per People. ‘It was much more challenging…’
‘Given just the amount of skills and different things I had to do with the dialect and the stunts, the fight training, speaking a couple of different languages here and there, and the traveling all around the world.’
She added, ‘It definitely felt like it was, if possible, I had found something even more challenging than Handmaid’s — which is impossible to say.’
Despite the challenges she faced when tackling a leading role in The Veil, Moss said, ‘But yeah, to me — to me, this was a great time.’
Earlier this year in January, she made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and confirmed that she is expecting her first child (seen above during the interview cradling her baby bump)
Earlier this year in January, the two-time Emmy winner made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and confirmed that she is expecting her first child.
The talk show host brought up the topic as she showcased her growing baby bump on the episode. ‘Are you pregnant or just an incredibly committed method actor?’ he questioned.
The actress responded with, ‘A little bit of both,’ which prompted Kimmel to say, ‘Congratulations.’
He also asked how she was doing and Moss revealed, ‘Not bad, actually. I’ve been really lucky. It’s been going really well.’
The Mad Men alum was previously married to SNL star and comedian Fred Armisen. The pair tied the knot in 2009 but Moss filed for divorce the following year shortly before their one-year wedding anniversary.
