Celebrity Big Brother’s Ekin-Su Culculoglu has opened up on her split from Love Island ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti.
The TV personality, 29, who met Davide on the ITV2 dating show, confirmed she had parted ways with the Italian businessman, also 29, last month, for a second time as she blamed a ‘rollercoaster of ups and downs’ in their romance.
Before entering the iconic house, Ekin-Su spoke about her public break-up, claiming a ‘healthy relationship is private’.
Speaking to The Sun, Ekin-Su said: ‘I’m not going in CBB for love. I’m going in there for an experience, an experiment.’
Hinting at what drove the break from Davide, she added: ‘What I’ve learned throughout my life and having a public relationship, is I don’t agree with always posting to prove a point to people, or each other, that you love each other.

The TV personality, 29, who met Davide on the ITV2 dating show, confirmed she had parted ways with the Italian businessman, also 29, last month, for a second time as she blamed a ‘rollercoaster of ups and downs’ in their romance
‘I don’t like that and I don’t agree with it. I think a healthy relationship is private, not posting about each other because it proves that you are happy or posting to get likes.
‘I’m not interested in that. That’s false.’
It comes after she revealed their romance struggled due to her ‘being more into him’ than he was into her.
However, the reality star said it wasn’t until Davide really ‘hurt’ her that they ended the relationship for good.
Speaking with Marisha Wallace in the Big Brother bedroom, Ekin-Su asked: ‘They always say to me that the man should be more into the woman. Is that true?’
Marisha replied: ‘I think so. Always.’
Ekin-Su admitted: ‘That’s the mistake I made.’
The Broadway actress asked: ‘You were more into him?’, prompting the former Dancing On Ice star to reply: ‘I think so.’
Marisha went on to ask the influencer what made her quit the relationship for good, Ekin-Su revealed: ‘Let’s just say he hurt me.’

Ekin-Su first split from Davide in June 2023 but they reconciled just two months later, enjoying a romantic getaway to Turkey, where Ekin-Su’s parents hail.
Fans have even speculated that the couple’s break up is just for show, and they will both appear on Love Island: All Stars and dramatically get back together.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, the former Dancing On Ice contestant wrote: ‘ The last 18-months have been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, just like every relationship.
‘Davide and I both wanted to make this work as we cared deeply for each other. Unfortunately I have recently made the decision to end our relationship and to go our separate ways.
‘Breakups are never easy. For any couple. And we hope that our privacy will be respected. I enjoyed our time together and the memories we made.
‘Thank you for your continued support. It’s been so lovely to have you follow our Love Island journeys together since the villa and we hope you’ll continue to follow our careers as we go off in our own directions. Love always, Ekin-Su.’
Davide released his own statement later that same day also on his Instagram story, and used the same font and colours as Ekin-Su.
He wrote: ‘Life sometimes reserves surprises and suddenly wakes you up… Ekin and I, just after the ski holidays, decided to go different ways. It was a joint decision, but I was waiting to make it public to respect her time in the show.’
Last month Ekin-Su’s statement read: ‘The last 18-months have been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, just like every relationship’
Davide also had his say on his own Instagram Story statement which said they had ‘grown apart’, after previously believing in a ‘future together’
He added: ‘I loved every moment, from the first time I knew her in the villa until the life outside. I really believed in us and saw a future for us’
Hinting at foul play from Ekin-Su, he said: ‘I don’t know why the agreed statement changed last minute, but continued: ‘I agree, it was a beautiful story even with its ups and downs like all couples.
‘I loved every moment, from the first time I knew her in the Villa until the life outside. I really believed in us and saw a future for us.
‘But sometimes in life people need to grow apart. Is just the direction of life. I will treasure our moments forever.’
He signed off by saying: ‘Now it’s time to focus on myself. I love you all always, thank you for the unconditional support everyone showed me from the beginning. Davide.’
