Eiza González is continuing to turn heads after she lamented she is considered ‘too hot’ to land gritty film roles.
The Mexican actress, 34, stepped out in a plunging off-white ensemble on Thursday in New York City, where she appeared on Today with Hoda & Jenna.
She looked effortlessly chic in the sleeveless ankle-length dress, which featured a thin black leather strap buckled across her décolletage.
The dress was complemented with a pair of black and white mid heels with a single black lace ribbon strap tied into a bow.
González finished the look with a pair of black rectangular Saint Laurent sunglasses, silver teardrop earrings and a black leather drawstring purse.

The 3 Body Problem star previously told InStyle she’s been passed over for roles because she was told she was ‘too hot.’
‘I remember being [told for] so many projects, “She’s too pretty for the role. She’s too hot for the role,”‘ she said.
‘Then I’d just be like, What is Margot Robbie?’ added González. ‘She’s the hottest, most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen in my life!’
She admitted she ‘had an identity crisis for a very long time,’ explaining that she even considered shaving her head.
‘Do I make myself less attractive?’ she recalled asking herself. ‘Do I make myself more attractive? Do I not dress super-hot or do I dress super-hot or do I cover myself all the time?’
After receiving an onslaught of scrutiny over the interview, González clarified the comments to ET, explaining that she was shedding light on Hollywood’s narrow perceptions of Latin women.
‘That’s what I was mentioning is the Latin community has gone through so much and women specifically in Latin culture through this idea of what they are versus the reality of what they are,’ said González.
González noted that ‘times are changing and we’re moving forward in such a positive way’ as she raved about playing a nano physicist in Netflix’s 3 Body Problem.

González can next be seen in Guy Ritchie ‘s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare , premiering April 19
‘It’s sad that it’s taken out of context because the intention is quite the opposite,’ she continued.
‘It’s shedding light to a thing that I think was making people think of a culture in a specific way and shedding light in a positive [way],’ added González.
‘But it had nothing to do with my personal experience within itself.’
