His adorable throwback snap comes just days after Ed left his fans ‘speechless’ after the star sang in Punjabi for the first time ever at a concert in India during the latest leg of his tour.
The hitmaker performed at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai earlier this month night, where he showed off his impressive language skills.
During the show, he invited Indian singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh, 40, to perform a duet in front of the 50,000.
Crowds went wild when the duo gave a rendition of Dosanjh’s hit track Lover in Punjabi.
After the show, both stars took to social media with clips to reflect on the special experience on stage.
Ed wrote: ‘Got to bring out Diljit Dosanjh tonight in Mumbai and sing in Punjabi for the first time. I’ve had such an incredible time in India, more to come!’
Meanwhile, Dosanjh shared the video with the caption reading: ‘Brother singing in Panjabi for the first time.’
Fans went wild in the comments section as one wrote: ‘This is just unreal… I’m speechless.’
‘This is the crossover we never knew we needed’.
‘I think I have seen history in the making.’
