EastEnders fans have demanded the soap include a ‘trigger warning’ over ‘very tough’ domestic violence scenes during Tuesday’s episode.
The Panesar family were relieved when they finally found Davinder aka Nugget after it was revealed he had been hiding with long lost mother Priya.
However, Nugget refused to go home after discovering his dad Ravi had killed Ranveer.
The family dragged him back to Walford before the police arrived to question why he had ran away.
While he was being questioned alongside his parents, Nish and Suki headed to the kitchen where he questioned his wife on why she had told Nugget about his father being a murderer.
Tough watch: EastEnders fans have demanded the soap include a ‘trigger warning’ over ‘very tough’ domestic violence scenes during Tuesday’s episode
Nish was furious and as Suki attempted to explain, he said it was her ‘guilt and shame’ that was leading her to look for false answers elsewhere.
He shouted: ‘Nugget won’t lose his father or his grandmother, I won’t let it happen.’
Nish proceeded to grab Suki roughly by the wrist before grabbing her throat and keeping hold until she repeated what he wanted her to say, and agree to his version of events.
Viewers were left disappointed that the episode never had a trigger warning at the start or a helpline at the end.
One wrote on Twitter: ‘Brilliant episode, but an unexpected & very shocking/upsetting scene of domestic violence between Nish & Suki that should’ve had a trigger warning & a helpline, & I don’t understand why it didn’t’
Another said: ‘A woman been physically grabbed by the throat, having her arm bend up behind her back & yet still no trigger warning, nothing before or after the episode really? That level of violence is beyond triggering for some sadly’
A third added: ‘The acting in tonight’s eastenders is just INSANE! but huge huge huge trigger warning for domestic violence!!’
One penned: ‘A bit taken back that there was no trigger warning before the ep and then no helpline afterwards either? the content of that episode definitely needed one and was very triggering to some @bbceastenders – it’s a duty of care to your viewers’

It comes after Nugget was finally found after it was revealed he had been hiding with long lost mother Priya on Monday.
In the tense teens the teen’s father Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) came face to face with his ex (played by Sophie Khan Levy) who viewers are already declaring ‘iconic’.
Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) turned to step-grandmother Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) earlier in the episode when his mystery location ran out of food.
She had known the lad had been safe, and hiding from his murderous dad, for weeks only to now inadvertently lead everyone to his location.
Suki arrived with husband Nish (Navin Chowdhry), followed close behind by Ravi and copper Jack Branning (Scott Maslan) who had given chase.

‘I am not leaving her’ the boy shouted at his horrofied father, with the newcomer insisting: ‘He is not keeping me away from my son again’.
