EastEnders star Michelle Collins has revealed she’s stranded in Spain after losing her passport, forcing her to call the local police for help.
The actress, 61, pleaded from help from her airline Easyjet on Monday after mislaying her passport at the airport, forcing her to miss her flight back to the UK.
Michelle, who returned to EastEnders earlier this year as Cindy Beale, later revealed she was barred from boarding the flight by airline staff, and was planning to visit the Embassy on Tuesday to gain an emergency document to travel home.
She first posted: ‘Please @easyJet can you help me I have lost my passport at Malaga airport the police (I have been there) say it is up to the airline to let me fly home,
‘My flight is at 8 30 pm tonight I am heading to the airport having just left the police station. Thank you Michele x.’

Admitting she was struggling with getting help from her airline, she added: ‘Nobody is very helpful @easyJet this is awful.’
Hours later, Michelle revealed she’d missed her flight back to the UK, and would be seeking an emergency document in a bid to get home and return to work.
She said: ‘Thank you most of you for your helpful comments, I wasn’t allowed to fly , went to embassy was closed applied for an emergency document online so let’s see what happens will go there when it opens in the morning.
‘Supposed to be filming @bbceastenders but I’m alive and safe.’
Michelle has made a sensational return to EastEnders back in June as legendary character Cindy Beale, after a 25-year hiatus from the BBC soap.
As Cindy finally made her dramatic return to the square, she paid a visit to her mother-in-law Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).
Cindy explained she has been in France with her son Ian and grandson Peter, leaving Kathy fuming as she believed Cindy was dead.
After Cindy called Kathy’s son Ben Mitchell ‘a right psycho’, Kathy lashed out by slapping her across the face.
The pair continued to slap each other and throw insults at each other until Kathy pushed Cindy to the ground as she called her ‘a bi**h’.

BBC viewers praised the explosive scene, with one penning: ‘Those scenes between Cindy and Kathy was EastEnders at its absolute best’
Another said: ‘Not even reunited minutes and the slaps are flying between Cindy and Kathy. The EastEnders we know and love’
While a third added: ‘That was iconic’.
