Lorraine Kelly was stunned during her TV show on Thursday when her daughter surprised her from Los Angeles.
The host, 63, went live to her LA Correspondent Ross King and was left squealing with delight when Rosie, 29, made an appearance.
Ross was issuing the latest update on the Hollywood actors’ strike after two weeks of negotiations between union SAG-AFTRA and studios.
He said: ‘Can I just say one thing, we were talking about earlier on the strike being over, people out here celebrating.
‘There’s a young starlet who has been out celebrating already… here, look!’

Appearing on screen Rosie flashed a smile as Lorraine squealed and waved at her.
‘I’m going to go to bed now!’ Rosie laughed.
Lorraine replied: ‘You go to bed because it’s very very late! I’m sure that you’ve been out doing lovely things, reading books, not going to nightclubs and all of that!
‘Ross, thank you for looking after her, that was great! Thank you Ross, thank you so much, oh she’s having a blast my daughter!’
Lorraine, 63, shares daughter Rosie, 28, with her husband Steve – who she married in 1992.
It comes after Lorraine was slammed by viewers on Monday for taking the half-term week off, despite having an adult daughter.
Fans of the ITV morning show pointed out that Christine Lampard stepped in as guest presenter – even though she has two young children, Patricia, five, and Freddie, two.
An ITV spokesperson confirmed to MailOnline last week: ‘Lorraine is now off for half term and will be back on Monday 6th November.’
