‘And he’s like a big gentle giant. So it’s just really, he’s really kind, really considerate. And it’s just been fun.’
He revealed that Alex has also won rave reviews from his loved ones, having met his mother Fiona Inglis and the rest of Blue –Â Simon Webbe, Antony Costa, and Lee Ryan.

Duncan explained:Â ‘He’s met my mum. She likes him. Which is good, because trust me, if Fiona doesn’t like them, you know about it.Â
‘The boys have met him. The boys met him first. Because he came to a gig and met the boys and they all like him as well. I’ve got their seal of approval.’
He added that Alex was understanding about the public interest into their relationship thanks to working in the industry, though was keen to emphasise he has worked as an actor as well as a stripper.
Duncan recalled: ‘[Alex] was like, “I’m an actor as well!” I know you are, baby. I think he obviously got a bit of fame from doing Britain’s Got Talent. And he’s done, Canada’s Got Talent, Australia’s Got Talent, Romania’s Got Talent.Â
‘They’ve done the whole tour, the circuit of them all, because I think they like to put them in different shows.Â
‘But yeah, so he’s used to it, you know, he’s used to being in the limelight and stuff. But he’s really cool, he’s really lovely, he’s really respectful.’
His new romance with Alex comes after Duncan split from his partner of six years, Rodrigo Reis, in May.Â
Speaking about the break-up, he said: ‘Me and Rodrigo, we just came to a natural end. And I love him to bits. So we’re still friends and everything. But yeah… six and a half years…’
He revealed that Alex has also won rave reviews from his loved ones, having met his mother Fiona Inglis and the rest of Blue – Antony Costa, Simon Webbe and Lee Ryan (L-R in July)

Duncan admitted he was still blown away by the fact that they had made it so long, saying that the group had survived because ‘we’ve all got a lot of loyalty’, as he gushed that the boys were ‘literally my brothers’ (seen last year)
While he also opened up about Blue’s milestone 25th anniversary next year, which the boyband are celebrating with a new album and tour.
Duncan admitted he was still blown away by the fact that they had made it so long, saying that the group had survived because ‘we’ve all got a lot of loyalty’, as he gushed that the boys were ‘literally my brothers’.
He said: ‘I just can’t believe we got to 25 years. And we’ve never lost a member. I mean, it’s pretty remarkable, isn’t it?
‘I mean, we’ve gone for a lot of s***, haven’t we, in Blue? We’ve had a lot of ups and downs. But we’re still together. Still same lot.’
He went on: ‘I think we’ve all got a lot of loyalty for one another. They were there for me through everything that I’ve been through in my life.Â
‘And they are literally my brothers. They’re brothers that I never thought I’d ever have. We’re family. And we always say that to each other. We are family. Â
‘And I think that’s the key. I mean, there’s been a lot of stuff that’s gone on. And we’ve always stood by each other and supported each other.Â
‘And that’s just what families do, don’t they? You can squabble and you can say you’re being an idiot there or whatever. ultimately, like, the love overrules all of them squabbles.’
