has fallen victim to a very questionable waxwork display which was unveiled at the National Wax Museum Plus in Dublin on Thursday morning.

The replica of the star, which sees performing her Lover album during her Eras tour, has sent fans into a frenzy, with some claiming it looks 'Jedward with a wig'.

The brand-new model depicts her performing on stage, with her pink guitar and wearing a glittering blue bodysuit and silver boots.

It was dramatically revealed from behind a curtain as staff members could be seen applying the final touches even after the unveiling.

But as pictures started circulating on social media, many Swifties flocked to mock the figure which had been created in the pop icon's likeness.

One penned: 'Who keeps getting paid for making these extremely poor wax statues?

'It looks like a cheap sex robot'; 'It's like one of Jedward with a wig!'; 'Even Jedward are shocked at how bad it is!';'I hope TayTay never sees this.'

Some took to Facebook to poke fun at the new installation, with one saying 'April fools was yesterday'.

'If you squint really hard, it looks like her,' one user joked alongside a multitude of laughing-face emojis.

'I could have done better myself with the wax at the bottom of my Yankee candle,' another remarked.

There was the odd comment here and there that took a more even-handed approach, with one praising Taylor's waxwork face, but 'the hair looks all wrong'.

And Taylor has not been the only A-lister to fall victim as over the years, there have been a whole host of waxworks that looked nothing like the stars they were meant to resemble, leaving people across the globe horrified.

Kevin Hart, who took to Instagram earlier this week to roast his new statue, which was recently unveiled at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

But as pictures started circulating on social media, many Swifties flocked to mock the display

'WTF... What did I do to these people... This is an attack,' he wrote. 'Who in the f**k is this?

'At this point these museums are just trying to make me cry... This s**t has to stop… I demand a redo.'

Back in February 2024, Madame Tussauds in Blackpool, England, unveiled a new wax statue of Beyoncé... and it did not go down well.

'Don't get me wrong, the wax figure is pretty, but baby that ain't Beyonce,' one wrote. 'I need them to go get an actual picture of her or bring her there while y'all are making it.'

The figure showed the Single Ladies songstress dressed in a sparkly bodysuit with her long locks styled in beach-like curls.

Years prior, in 2017, a different wax figure of the singer was pulled after many claimed it looked 'whitewashed.'

After briefly taking it 'off the floor' for 'adjusting,' TMZ reported that it returned to the museum and had been altered to more closely approximate Beyoncé's skin tone.

Madame Tussauds in New York released a statement afterwards, which read: 'We love, respect, and enjoy a working relationship with Beyoncé... We have adjusted the styling and lighting of her figure, and she is [back] on display.'

Ariana Grande fans were also left baffled after Madame Tussauds in London unveiled a new wax work for her in May 2019.

The figure wore the pop star's iconic high ponytail as well as one of her signature looks - an oversized sweater and thigh-high black boots.

While the outfit may have been spot on, social media users felt like the creators missed the mark while attempting to recreate the Thank U, Next songstress's face.

'Y'all need to melt her face and start [over] because this ain't it,' one user wrote, while another said: 'Are you sure this is Ariana?'
