Dua Lipa shot to fame as a worldwide pop star in 2017, but it’s been revealed she made an appearance on Australian reality TV before becoming a household name.
The British-Albanian singer, 28, was a budding popstar in 2016 when she appeared on season two of The Bachelorette Australia, reported the Shameless Podcast.
It was revealed on Tuesday that the One Kiss hitmaker performed an exclusive performance for bachelorette Georgia Love and her suitor Clancy Ryan.
Only 22 years old at the time, Dua was touring with Troye Sivan as his opening act when she got the television gig.
Georgia, 35, who was courting 18 men on the matchmaking reality show, took Clancy on a date in episode five where they were treated to a private performance by Dua.

Unbeknownst to the couple, Dua would go on to release her debut hit single New Rules the following year and shoot to worldwide fame.
The pop star has come a long way since then as Glastonbury and Coachella Festival bosses are reportedly competing to secure her as their headliner next summer.
According to insiders, the British pop sensation is currently unsure about her decision, but is carefully considering the offers.

Dua hasn’t performed at the Glastonbury Festival since the beginning of her career seven years ago when she took to the John Peel Stage.
This time around, should she choose to accept the gig, she will be the headlining act on the famous Pyramid Stage at Glasto’s Worthy Farm.
A source told The Sun: ‘Dua loves Glastonbury and when she last played there she described it as her “favourite thing ever”.’

They continued: ‘She knows how huge this opportunity is but it’s also the same for Coachella.
‘Dua has been to both as a punter before and loves everything about them. She feels so honoured and excited to even be considered by organisers.’
The singer is also gearing up to release her highly anticipated third album in early 2024.
The source added: ‘A lot is riding on this album and Dua is pulling no punches. It will cement her as one of the greatest pop stars to ever come out of the UK.’
