Glastonbury headliner Dua Lipa is planning to turn her appearance at this summer’s festival into a dramatic movie using behind-the-scenes footage of the build-up to her main stage appearance.

The Brit Award-winning British singer, 28, will also use the film to accompany a single released after she performs on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm in Somerset.

Ms Lipa greeted confirmation that she was headlining the festival on June 28 saying: ‘I have dreamt of this moment all my life.’

Record label bosses confirm that the singer herself suggested the idea of a documentary.

An industry source told The Mail on Sunday: ‘[Ms Lipa] wants to get the Glastonbury experience across to fans all over the world, as many will never get the chance to attend.

‘The plan is to use some of the footage to accompany her new single release. We don’t think anyone has actually used footage from Glastonbury with their own single release before. But there will also be loads of extra footage… and scope to release a Dua Lipa Glastonbury movie.’
