Dua Lipa tried to breakdown the ongoing feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake in a hilarious sketch during this week’s Saturday Night Live, where she played both host and musical guest.

The 28-year-old performer kicked off her opening monologue by introducing herself to the audience by her fan-given nickname: ‘Dula Peep.’

Lipa’s delivered plenty of self-deprecating jokes as her parents, Anesa and Dukagjin Lipa, sat in the audience.

The singer — who recently released her third studio album — then recalled a time when she awkwardly ran into her mother and father at a night club.

Lipa quipped that, while partying, ‘the last thing [parents] want to see when you’re high and drunk off your a** is your daughter.’

She then touched on the meaning behind her new album Radical Optimism and how she does her best to find the good in the bad.

To prove her point, Lipa spoke to a man in the audience who confessed to her that his wife recently left him after he called her ‘mom’ during sex.

Leading with optimism, Lipa replied: ‘On the bright side, you’ll have more time to spend with your mom.’

Heidi Gardner then appeared in costume as controversial South Dakota governor Kristi Noem, although she was immediately shutdown.

The first sketch of the evening takes place in a recording studio, in which with a producer named Young Spicy recruited a pair of singers to help him come up with a producer tag.

The singers then began making comments about Young Spicy’s closeted homosexuality and started implying that he is a violent individual, much to his chagrin.

During a second pass, one of the singers made a reference to the producer ‘DMing high schoolers’ and the other shouted out To Catch A Predator’s host Chris Hansen.

The studio technician finishes the sketch by offering an idea to the singers and suggests that Young Spicy is a registered sex offender, after which the frustrated producer gives up.

The second sketch takes place in a London theater in 1897, in which Dua Lipa plays a theatergoer who asks to meet the playwright of a show only known by the pen name The Anomalous Man.

The’s singers character then meets the playwright, Peter, and discovers that the writer is incredibly deformed before inviting him to dinner, where they grow closer to one another.

The two end up in bed together and prepare to fall asleep before she finds out that Peter had been sexting other women behind her back and that he sent one potential partner a message in which he told her she would find out ‘what this snout do.’

Lipa’s character then kicks Peter out, after which he immediately begins flirting with another woman, although he is ultimately shut down.

The third sketch of the evening is set during a South Carolina morning talk show and innocuously start discussing the ongoing feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

The show’s weatherman states that he does not want to get into the feud, after which a Dua Lipa-portrayed cultural critic begins analyzing the beef, which she has mapped out on a conspiracy theory-esque board.

The critic stated that she had ‘been awake for the past 48 hours trying to piece it all together’ before introducing various aspects of the conflict.

The weatherman hides in a corner of the set before the show’s hosts begin speaking about the Crips, and Gardner’s character comments that she feels as if ‘Crips set up the cameras on movie sets.’

The hosts then bring out a pair of Kendrick Lamar and Drake masks and pretend to squash their beef, during which the host playing Kendrick tells Drake that he could ‘say the n word.’

The hosts then prepare to ‘say it together’ before their feed gets cut off, and after they return that they have to take an extended break, although they will play ‘black or not black’ when the show returns.

The next sketch takes place in a young woman’s apartment, in which her date notices she has a wall full of hundreds of naked dolls.

The woman states that the dolls are actually called Sonny Angels and explains that her favorite one in the bunch is a talking doll played by a green-screened Bowen Yang.

The talking doll and the date begin trading insults, and the former calls the latter a ‘fruit’ before they start talking about Challengers.

The young woman brings out a plate of ‘churros, the most penis dessert,’ and just before she leaves to get chocolate sauce, she states that she hopes the two ‘don’t act bicurious.’

The woman later sits between the two and gets her date to kiss Yang’s character, after which he turns into another one of her Sonny Angels.

The next sketch takes the form of a commercial in which attendees of weddings, funerals and graduation parties advertise for ‘a big a** aluminum tray of penne alla vodka.’

A new bride describes the dish as ‘loved by none but tolerated by all’ before the other characters speak about the catering standard’s bland but acceptable nature.

The advertisement ends after the narrator states that the dish comes from ‘the makers of untouched tray of cookies.’

Dua Lipa then performed her first set of the evening, during which she played her new song, Illusion, which was featured on her new record Radical Optimism.

The performer donned a black bra top and matching bottom, both of which were worn underneath a fishnet dress.

The hitmaker completed her look for her first set with black leggings, knee-high boots and several pieces of jewelry.

Dua Lipa’s male backup dancers also wore similar outfits as they accompanied the singer.

The next sketch takes place at a gynecologist’s office, where an expecting woman is surprised to learn that her ultrasound will be performed by a man called Fat Daddy.

The gynecologist, whose coat is covered in sauce, reveals he used to be a pitmaster and begins basting the pregnant woman’s stomach with transmission gel and spraying her down with water before starting the ultrasound.

Fat Daddy then states that he doesn’t see a baby, but expressed that ‘sometimes, like in barbecue, you’ve got to roll up your sleeves,’ before taking out a pair of tongs to take a closer look.

The nurse describes the expecting mother’s temperature as ‘225, slow and low,’ and Fat Daddy starts licking his fingers before saying that the baby should stay in the mother’s stomach for another ‘month and a half, two months.’

One of Fat Daddy’s employees then began writing down supplements for the mother on wax paper, after which it was revealed that his clinic was shut down and that Saturday Night Live’s writing team garnered controversy for the sketch.

Dua Lipa’s second set of the evening was introduced by Jerry Seinfeld, who appeared as a special guest on the show’s Weekend Update.

The Argylle actress performed her track Happy For You, which was also featured on Radical Optimism.

The singer changed into a sparkling and sleeveless bodysuit worn on top of a white bra top and matching bottom for her second set of the show.

The Grammy Award-winning performer’s dyed red hair paired perfectly with the vibrant tone of her outfit as she wowed the show’s audience.

The next sketch also takes the form of a commercial, in which pins manufactured for people who are too scared to make a statement but not wanting to feel guilty are advertised.

The Teeny Tiny Statement Pin is then touted by several individuals, one of whom stated that he did not want everyone around him to be ‘bombarded with my opinions.’

After another spokesperson encourages wearers to ‘be a teeny tiny part of the conversation,’ a Chloe Fineman-portrayed Anna Wintour appears wearing a pin that says ‘The Devil Wears Prada was not about me.’

The company then introduces its much vaguer options for individuals who want to seem as if they are a part of a cause without committing to any.

The last sketch takes place in an office building, where a flooring company’s executives are bemoaning their losses, which one attributes to their lack of a jingle.
