Hollywood star turned talk show host Drew Barrymore is heading Down Under.
The actress, 49, will be touring Australia in August as part of wellness brand Wanderlust’s ‘True North’ event, where she will share her life story with audiences.
Barrymore, known for starring roles in Charlie’s Angels and The Wedding Singer, will be attending the event as the guest of honour at ICC Sydney Theatre on August 2 and at Brisbane Convention Centre the next day.
‘My life’s journey has been an extraordinary odyssey, and I am absolutely thrilled to share my life story from my triumphs, setbacks, and everything in between in Australia, one of my favourite countries, at Wanderlust True North,’ she said in a statement.
Drew added she was ‘thrilled’ to appear on stage with a handpicked array of celebrities, who are yet to be announced.

The actress also expanded into television presenting in 2020, when she became the host of her own syndicated talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show.
When not performing, Drew has been a stalwart advocate for wellness practices and mental health awareness.
Wanderlust chief executive Charlotte Hill welcomed the news, saying that Barrymore is ‘an icon and loved the world over.’
