First impressions were captured last week as the cast of senior women starring in the inaugural series primped and pampered themselves for the big night.
One bold woman went so far as to arrive on-set at the Sydney mega-mansion on top of a horse in an effort to woo the 50-something infrastructure engineer to her side.
The silver-haired glamazon ensured she made an unforgettable entrance as she slipped into her traditional riding clothes with a full face of makeup to boot.
She sat tall astride her black pony, which was very well behaved as she walked it up to the mansion to greet Barry.
Her love rivals chose extravagant gowns to catch the eye of Barry, with one woman arriving in a sizzling red ensemble which clung to her figure.

Sydney City Council was seemingly caught off guard by the development, and has initiated inquiries despite the project falling within the purview of private property regulations.
A council spokesperson told The Daily Telegraph while filming on private grounds does not necessitate council consent, it does require a comprehensive filming management plan.
This includes detailing logistical specifics like crew size, temporary structures and potential impacts on the surrounding area.
Unlike The Bachelor and The Bachelorette which feature young men and women, the Golden Bachelor is targeted at a more mature audience eager to watch how those who have already experienced great love and loss are chasing companionship.
