Drake seemingly made a subtle swipe at ex Serena Williams after her cameo on stage with rival Kendrick Lamar during Super Bowl LIX this past weekend on Sunday.
The One Dance hitmaker, 38, went on a social media frenzy on his Instagram burner account on Tuesday – just days after Lamar performed his diss track Not Like Us during the halftime show.
Drake and the tennis icon were first romantically linked back in 2011.
Serena shocked fans as she was spotted Crip Walking when Kendrick performed the song towards the end of his 13-minute set.
The Crip Walk, also known as the C-Walk, is a dance move that was created in the 1970s by first generation Crip members.
In response, the Canadian-born rapper took a thinly veiled dig at Williams, 43, when he posted a photo of himself with her former agent, Jill Smoller.
The image was taken in 2015 when he attended Wimbledon to watch Serena compete in a match.
Drake – whose full name is Aubrey Drake Graham – opted to not add a caption to the picture, but left the comment section open to allow social media users to offer their own thoughts.

During his posting spree, the music artist uploaded around 29 other pictures and clips to his burner account – which was first launched back in June 2024, per TMZ.
Most recently, he uploaded a short reel of himself sitting inside a dimly lit room with Chinese lanterns hanging above him and fireworks exploded on a nearby screen.
He captioned the clip as he sat and listened to a track playing in the background called ‘$$$OMEBODY LOVES ME’ – possibly referencing to a song on his upcoming album titled Some Sexy Songs 4 U.
On Sunday, Serena made a surprise cameo when she danced on stage to Lamar’s Not Like Us diss track during the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show.
Drake and Williams were first romantically linked in 2011 and four years later in 2015, the pair were spotted together on various occasions – such as kissing at a Cincinnati restaurant.

However, the two stars went their separate ways and the following year in 2016 – he dropped the track Too Good where he appeared to reference the tennis player.
The lyrics in the chorus are: ‘I’m too good to you/ I’m way too good to you/ You take my love for granted/ I just don’t understand it.’
Williams later tied the knot with Alex Ohanian in 2017 and Drake seemingly reference to her husband in his 2022 song titled Middle of the Ocean.
‘Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie/ He claim we don’t got a problem but/ No, boo, it is like you comin’ for sushi/ We might pop up on ’em at will like Suzuki,’ he said in the track.
At the time, Alex appeared to reply to the tune and wrote on X: ‘The reason I stay winning is because I’m relentless about being the absolute best at whatever I do – including being the best groupie for my wife & daughter.’
And in Lamar’s Not Like Us diss track – which garnered five Grammy wins earlier this month – he also brought up Williams’ name in the lyrics: ‘From Alondra down to Central, n**** better not speak on Serena.’
Kendrick’s Super Bowl performance was branded the ‘worst halftime show ever’ by fans – a feat that was celebrated by his rap rival Drake, insiders claim.
Toronto-born Drake and multi Grammy winner Kendrick have been embroiled in a furious rivalry for years, despite collaborating on each other’s records in the early days of their careers.

Drake had desperately tried to prevent Lamar from performing his scathing diss track Not Like Us, in which he refers to the Canadian as a ‘certified pedophile,’ to 83,000 fans at Sunday night’s game.
He had reportedly banned his close friends from watching the set and refused to talk about it.
But despite his failure to veto the track, he was ‘happy’ that viewers tuning in at home were less than impressed by Lamar’s performance.
‘Drake put his friends on a Super Bowl ban and did not tune into the show,’ an insider told DailyMail.com. ‘He was not able to stop Not Like Us from being played and wasn’t happy about it.
‘He knows it resonated with Kendrick’s target audience who have basically exiled him.’
The source added, ‘But he is happy that people weren’t impressed by Kendrick’s performance and is feeling better about his chances of a comeback – even if he does feel that he has lost some of his core fans.’
Despite Drake recently suing his and Kendrick’s record label, Universal Music Group, over the controversial Not Like Us, Kendrick performed the song, but he omitted the accusation.
Lamar made reference to the lawsuit before launching into the track, telling the crowd: ‘I want to perform their favorite song, but you know they love to sue.’

But he did deliver two other controversial lines, including ‘Say Drake, I hear you like them young’ and ‘trying to strike a chord and it’s probably a minor.’
He also wore a big silver chain pendant with a small letter ‘a’, an apparent reference to ‘A minor’ in the lyrics.
Serena has since also jumped to Instagram to share photos and behind-the-scenes moments from her brief dancing cameo on the Super Bowl stage with Lamar.
On Tuesday, she revealed the real reason why she made the decision to join the rapper on stage during the NFL game.
Williams penned on Instagram, ‘When @kendricklamar and team called and was like “we’ve been trying to do something forever, what about this? We loved your crip walk at the Olympics after you won the gold medal.”‘
‘I’m like Super Bowl? Are you serious? When in the world would I ever be able to dance at a superbowl? (Never) let’s do it!’
She concluded with, ‘I knew my winning dance after the would pay off one day. End of story.’
