It seems that there are few places on earth where Drake can go to find some peace.
The Canadian rapper is currently in Sydney on the Australian leg of his Anita Max Win Tour.
Drake was attempting to enjoy some downtime this week, in his luxe penthouse at Crown Sydney when he received an unwelcome visitor.
Instagram account RapMusic shared a clip that showed the point-of-view of what appeared to be a drone.
The object was hovering on the balcony of Drake’s swanky digs for a few seconds, in front of a laptop sitting on a table next to a glass of rosé, before it was noticed by the rapper.
Shocked, Drake bends down to reach for a bright orange slide, wasting no time at hurling the casual footwear at his airborne voyeur.

Unfortunately, Drake’s aim was off, and his slide failed to hit the drone, however the warning shot appeared to have the desired effect.
The drone then flew up from the balcony and up into a summery Sydney sky.
‘Someone flew a drone up to Drake’s penthouse in Australia and he tried to knock it down with a slide,’ the video was captioned.
The account augmented the sentiment with a simple: ‘I’m dead,’ and a crying laughing emoji.
The post was met with a flurry of comments from followers, with some suggesting the clip was a promo for online crypto casino Stake, with whom Drake is partnered.
‘It’s obviously promo for the betting company bro. The acting is doodoo,’ one follower pointed out to which another replied: ‘lmao the computer screen is on stakes website too ‘
Promo or not, other followers were quick to comment on Drake’s slide-throwing abilities in the clip.
‘He looks like a single mother trying to fight a spider,’ one commenter joked.

Drake’s drone drama comes after he helped one Sydney fan quit his fast food job.
TikTok account Finessers took to the platform on Tuesday to share a short clip of Drake on stage at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena.
The clip showed Drake, clad in a blue tracksuit, pointing out a sign he noticed in the crowd.
‘I like the style of my man right here,’ Drake said pointing to a sign that read: ‘Help us quit Maccas,’ referring to the iconic fast food outlet McDonald’s.
‘In Australia, I’ve been noticing they call McDonald’s “Maccas”, right?’ he asked.
The superstar then adopted his best Australian accent as he continued to address the hopeful fan.
‘He’s got the sign, mate, saying, “Help us quit Maccas” mate,’ he said in an Antipodean drawl that drew a rapturous reaction from the crowd.

The post was met with a flurry of comments from followers
‘I’m keen on that, mate. I’m keen to help you quit Maccas, mate,’ Drake continued.
However, rather than offering words of encouragement, the rapper put his money where his mouth is.
‘I’m going to give you 30 bands tonight so you can [quit Maccas],’ he said before adding a cheeky, ‘Easy as, mate.’
The post was met with a flurry of comments from fans, with many pointing out Drake’s attempt at an Aussie accent.
‘Easy as,’ one wrote with two crying laughing emojis. ‘He def been in Aus too long.’
Another chimed in with: ‘That wasn’t even a bad impression tbh.’
Drake’s magnanimous gesture comes after he made a Melbourne fan’s dream come true last week.
The rapper obliged a pregnant fan’s request do do her baby’s gender reveal, live on stage.
Drake happily obliged and, if that wasn’t enough, then announced he was giving the excited mum-to-be $50,000.
‘Sally’s having a boy and Sally’s getting $50,000 from me,’ Drake added to rapturous applause from the crowd.
