Dolly Parton announced Monday that she’s headed for the Las Vegas Strip this December for a limited six-show run at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The 79-year-old national treasure – who’s only a Tony Award away from elite EGOT status – kicks off her mini-residency Dolly: Live in Las Vegas on December 4, and it runs through December 13 during National Finals Rodeo.

‘To say I’m excited would be an understatement,’ Dolly said in a statement.

‘I haven’t worked Vegas in years and I’ve always loved singing there. I’m looking so forward to the shows in The Colosseum at Caesars and I hope you are as well. See you there!’

Parton – who boasts 26.2M social media followers – added on Instagram: ‘Grab your rhinestones, Vegas is calling!’

Jessica Simpson – who calls the legendary country crooner her ‘style icon’ – wanted to be the first to sign up for the hit-driven concert, commenting on her post: ‘Ohhhh I need to be there!’

Dolly will regal the Nevada audiences with numerous hits from her seven-decade career, including 9 to 5, Jolene, I Will Always Love You, Coat Of Many Colors.

Tickets for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity go on sale this Wednesday at 10am PT and there are

four different VIP packages featuring perks like a personal photo opp with Parton, behind the curtain tour, and a pre-show reception at her ‘Rhinestone Lounge.’

The 11-time Grammy winner hasn’t hit the road in a significant way since her 64-date Pure & Simple Tour, which concluded nine years ago.

Dolly hasn’t had a Las Vegas residency since she concluded her 50-show run at the Mirage way back in 1993.

Parton suffered the loss of her beloved husband Carl Thomas Dean, at age 82, from undisclosed causes on March 3 after 58 years of marriage.

The Please Please Please singer was only 18 when she famously met the reclusive, retired asphalt road-paver in 1964 at the Wishy Washy Laundromat the day after moving to Nashville from Sevierville to start her career.

Three days after Carl’s death, Dolly released a touching song dedicated to Dean called If You Hadn’t Been There.

Parton’s multimedia symphonic storytelling experience Threads: My Songs In Symphony will hit up the San Diego Symphony Orchestra next Sunday and it continues in different cities all the way through May 2026.
