Grammy Award-winner Doja Cat is known for her bold makeup, fierce style and bleach blond pixie cut.
But the singer, 29, had fans doing a double take when she uploaded a new selfie to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday.
Doja —born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini — looked unrecognizable as she appeared makeup-free and wearing a blonde bob wig.
She also had on a pair of brown metal frame glasses and either a white blouse or a silk pajama top.
The Kiss Me More hitmaker smiled for the photo, which was taken from the chest up.
Fans were left stunned by Doja’s transformation, with one joking that she has a ‘sexy HR vibe going’ on.

Many compared her new toned down appearance to that of a ‘realtor’ or ‘librarian.’
Others teased her for looking like a ‘Karen,’ which is slang for an ‘entitled’ American white woman, or an alternate universe version of VP Kamala Harris.
Doja also received a ton of praise for displaying her ‘natural beauty’ on social media.
‘This feels like the most natural version of Doja Cat—like how she might look as an average person, which really makes her feel more relatable and HUMAN,’ one X user responded.
Being that Doja uploaded the selfie without a caption, this prompted several fans to wonder if the photo was another hint at her next musical era.
The singer last released a studio alum, titled Scarlet, in September 2023.
Doja’s shock selfie comes just weeks after she used Instagram to reveal a cryptic new foot tattoo.
She shared a photo dump featuring the fresh new ink on her foot prominently on November 12.

Doja’s new tattoo was placed on the top of her right foot as it said ‘RED’ in big bold capital letters ion the color red.
She definitely kept on theme as she sported dark red shiny lacquer on her toenails.
Doja did not give any more perspective on the meaning of the tattoo as she simply captioned it to her over 24million followers: ‘red 5.
Even her biggest fans were left unsure what the meaning of the tattoo was as one wrote: ‘ok but announce that single doja’
Another chose to ignore anything that was posted in the gallery as they wrote: ‘hey how are you today?’
Finally a different fan made light of the photos but seemingly had more questions than answers as they commented: ‘toes?’
The gallery began with an extreme close-up of her face as she had a wide smile.
Some wondered if ‘red’ could possibly be the name of her fifth full-length studio album or even possibly a new single.

However her social media behavior the previous day also reinforced that new music may be on the way.
Doja took to X that Monday to post what appeared to be a track list, according to Billboard.
According to screenshots posted on social media the 13 possible song titles appeared to be: Break My Heart, Take Me Dancing, Ain’t News, Anything, Slow Burn, Turn The Lights On, and Appreciation.
After deleting the track list the Los Angeles native sent out another series of cryptic tweets which included Ma Vie Mi Vida Mia Vita and 5 Love Languages as she noted: ‘songs are in no particular order. Starred my favorites.’
The post was seemingly in reference to song titles which were starred in the original deleted post which included: Cards, Acts Of Service, Make It Up, Did I Lie, and Crack.
