Dancing On Ice’s Chris Taylor was left tearful during Sunday’s show after pro partner Vanessa Bauer was forced to quit the competition following an injury.
The Love Island star, 34, cried that he’d ‘learned so much from the stunner’ when she revealed doctors had informed her she had torn a ligament in her leg and had no choice to withdraw.
Speaking backstage an emotional Vanessa told Chris: ‘We’ve been together since October and its been amazing’.
He replied: ‘I’ve learned a lot from you’ before the pair shared a hug and he was introduced to new pro Robin Johnstone just 24-hours before taking to the ice.
With Chris admitting: ‘I don’t think I have been in a more stressful situation’.
Once they got onto the ice for their Pokemon themed perfomance, not all went well for the pairing and Chris took a tumble before clambering back onto his skates.
