The Hollywood star, 51, has been playfully mocked over the years for romancing and then dumping models and actresses once they turn 25.

His famous exes that fit into this category include Camila Morrone, Bar Refaeli, Blake Lively, while he is currently breaking the trend by dating Vittoria Ceretti, 27.

Despite still dating her after her 25th birthday, there is still a 24 year age gape between the couple and many other celebrities appear to be following suit.

Leonardo's friends and colleagues including Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, Bradley Cooper and Jake Gyllenhaal are all in relationships with large age-gaps.

Leonardo's good friend Brad is among the group of A-list men who have seemingly followed the trend, after getting into a relationship with Ines.

The actors have a strong professional and personal relationship and a well documented bromance after working in the industry together for years.

It comes as no surprise then that Brad's dating habits are similar to his friend's.

In December it was revealed that Brad was spending his birthday with his live-in girlfriend and they were 'more in love than ever', a source told Daily Mail.

The insider added because he was starting a new film in Ireland in the new year so he was savouring 'some much-needed down time at the moment.'

The couple have been together since 2022 and it marks his first serious public relationship following his divorce from Angelina Jolie.

They waited until 2024 to make their red carpet debut together and it revealed at the time, that Brad feels 'happy' to have Ines 'by his side'.

A source told Entertainment Tonight in 2024: 'Brad and Ines are doing well in their relationship. 'Brad is happy to have her by his side and is focused on the future.'

The insider shared: 'He's trying not to let any worries or issues from the past get to him and appreciates how much he has grown as a person and wants to continue to do so.'

Prior to that, a source claimed that Brad 'finally feels happy again'.

The insider told People: 'Although he's always been surrounded by trusted friends, he still had years when he felt very lonely.

'Sharing his life and living with Ines now makes his very happy. Ines is great. She doesn't come with any baggage and is able to just support him.'

Brad's close friends ultimately 'just [want] him to be happy' with Ines.

The Meet Joe Black star - who was married to Angelina between 2014 and 2019 - is now firmly focused on the future, rather than worrying about his past relationships.

The insider shared: 'The long-drawn drama with Angelina used to really get to him, especially the custody drama and abuse allegations. It's been very stressful for him to have to defend over and over again.'

In October, the couple cemented their romance by 'fully living together.'
