Dianne Buswell from Strictly and Joe Sugg Share Heartwarming Pictures, Finding Comfort in Each Other amid Unwanted Remarks about Their Relationship

Dianne Buswell and her boyfriend Joe Sugg cosied up in some sweet photos as they gave an insight into their relaxing weekend. 

The Strictly Come Dancing professional, 34, has reportedly been ‘hit hard’ over the scrutiny of her five-year relationship with the YouTuber, 32, due to her close bond with Bobby Brazier, 20.

Brushing off the comments, the couple looked happier than ever as they posed for a fun selfie in matching outfits before going for a swim. 

Dianne nailed her Autumnal look in a tan jumpsuit with a long leather coat and knee-high boots. 

Meanwhile, Joe coordinated his outfit with his girlfriends, wearing in a suede jacket and smart trousers.

The couple then changed into some swimwear and went for a dip, with Joe joking that they were ‘pretending to be frogs.’ 

Their outing comes after Dianne was reportedly upset over ‘cruel remarks’ after Bobby declared his love for her.  

Insiders close to Dianne said she was ‘very much still together’ with Joe but is feeling down after being bombarded by taunts from overzealous supporters of the YouTuber.    

‘The cruel remarks she has read about her relationship with Bobby – who has been really supportive – have hit her hard,’ a source told The Mirror. 

‘Her and Joe are still very much together and he has also been very supportive, and made it clear publicly that he has her back.’

On Saturday night, Bobby and Dianne danced the Argentine Tango to Sail by AWLONATION and placed in the middle of the leaderboard with 30 points out of 40.

Viewers took to X – formerly known as Twitter- to comment on their on-screen chemistry with Bobby pulling Dianne in for a passionate ending to their fierce dance.’

One wrote: ‘Idk why but the way Bobby behaves around Dianne makes me a bit uncomfortable, like she very clearly views him as a little brother but you can tell he has a crush on her, idk something about it doesn’t sit right with me’.

Bobby and Dianne expressed their affection for one another in an appearance on Lorraine last week. 

Fans have been quick to laud the close friendship between the two – as Dianne called Bobby her ‘rock’ after he supported her through a difficult few weeks that resulted in a tearful appearance on Strictly. 

Talking about their close bond, Bobby explained to stand-in host Christine Lampard: ‘We spend so much time together [in rehearsals] all day every day together.’

Dianne then chimed in, adding: ‘So if we didn’t like each other, that would be an issue!’

Bobby then sweetly joked: ‘There are times when I don’t like you, but then there are times that I love you.’

Christine then asked Bobby if Dianne ‘cracks the whip a bit too much’ and Bobby said: ‘Yeah… I think I’m getting better at working harder.

Dianne added: ‘We’re starting to understand each other a bit more, I even had to ask him for a break last week and he said, “No.” He’s working really, really hard and it shows because it was a beautiful dance. We loved it so much and long may it continue.’

On the show’s Halloween theme this Saturday, Dianne said: ‘Bobby’s hips are back!’ We saw a lot of hip action in the Samba and we’re going to see more hips this week.’

Bobby laughed: ‘They [the hips] did surprisingly well.’

Dianne is currently balancing her busy Strictly schedule with spending time with YouTuber boyfriend Joe with whom she was partnered on the 2018 series.
