Two decades after the original movie was released and just a couple of days after the sequel premiered in theaters, the leading stars are already expressing enthusiasm about working together again.
When asked about what it would take for there to be a third movie to follow up their newly released sequel film, the trio seemed open to the idea, even though in early reviews.
Streep, 76, said that 'the script' would be important for her to sign on for a triquel.
'A good script. It's all about the script,' Blunt, 43, added in agreement in a joint interview with People that was published on Sunday.
'And then, everybody has to say yes,' Hathaway, 43, chimed in.

'It's got to be the core four,' Blunt concurred, referring to the three of them plus returning cast member Stanley Tucci, who is married to Blunt's older sister, literary agent Felicity Blunt.
Streep jokingly added: 'They have to be alive.'
The new sequel sees Streep, Hathaway and Blunt reprise their iconic roles in the cult classic dramedy.

'I'm really lucky. I found someone that I love so much,' she added while referring to her husband, Adam Shulman. 'We've been married for 17 years. We've got two kids.'
