David Beckham looked in great spirts as he beamed alongside his pals after enjoying a game of padel tennis in the sun on Wednesday.
The former footballer, 48, took to Instagram as he enjoyed a game with sports agent David Gardner and some other friends.
However things took a turn for the worst after the star fell over and suffered an injured knee.
Sharing a close up of the injury on his Story it looked as though David was able to continue to play on as he displayed a tiny red graze, captioning the snap ‘Ouch!’
Showing off his athletic physique he donned a pair of tiny Adidas burgundy shorts and a grey T-shirt for the game.

The star completed his look with some eye-catching bright green trainers and donned a black baseball cap backwards on his head.
It’s not the first time the star has tried his hand at padel after he worked up a sweat back in 2021 as he enjoyed a game in Miami.
The former Manchester United and England star traded the football for a racket of sorts while trying his hand at paddle tennis on an outdoor court.
Captioning a short video of himself in action, he wrote: ‘Found a new sport, back is gonna hurt in the morning but who cares.’
It comes after furious fans in Hong Kong booed David and demanded a refund after paying for tickets to watch Lionel Messi, only for the Inter Miami star to stay on the bench.
