Demi Moore Stuns in Purple Gown at Cannes Gala

Demi showed off her amazing figure in an eye catching purple dazzling halterneck dress which boasted a floral detailing. 

Styling her dark tresses loose, she accessorised with a large pair of silver drop earrings and wore a stunning palette of makeup.

Sara insisted 'we're all human' as she opened up about being trolled online to the Daily Mail as she walked the red carpet. 

She said: 'It's like every time I speak about something political, there will be 100 comments like, "you're not paid to talk, you're paid to look pretty". 

'I'm still a person and I'm still going to have my own opinions. You might not agree with them, and that's okay but we're human at the end of the day, we're people and we believe in stuff and we have our opinions and some have more of a platform than others. 

'I learned to talk about things that matter to me, that I'm passionate about and I just try to stay out of controversy really. I've had a lot of it in my young years and I'm just like; I just want to be happy and people to love me.'

Demi joins Hamnet director Chloé Zhao and actor Stellan Skarsgård on the jury for the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.

Organisers unveiled the nine-member jury that will deliberate on the films in competition at the annual French Riviera festival in May.

As previously announced, South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook is president of the jury.

Along with him, Moore, Zhao and Skarsgård, the jurors are: Irish-Ethiopian actor Ruth Negga, Belgian director and screenwriter Laura Wandel, Chilean director and screenwriter Diego Céspedes, Ivorian American actor Isaach De Bankolé and Scottish screenwriter Paul Laverty.
