The actress, 63, shares her daughters Rumer, 37, Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 31, with her ex-husband Bruce Willis, who was not pictured at the gathering.

Taking to her Instagram on Sunday, she shared a sweet snap of everyone in adorable sets of matching Christmas sleepwear.

As well as her close family, Demi’s best pal Eric Buterbaugh was also in attendance.

‘Ho Ho Ho….Dogs, Ducks, PJs and Snow,’ she penned alongside the post.

It comes after Rumer shared that her famous father doesn’t always recognise her when she visits him, amid his battle with dementia.

The actress gave fans an update on the 70-year-old Die Hard star’s health via her Instagram Stories last month.

The Hollywood icon retired from acting in 2022 due to his worsening health, and has been moved out of his family home to a separate one-story house where he has a 24/7 care team.

Rumer shared that though Willis might not always recognise her, she knows that he can feel her love and that there’s a ‘spark’ in him.

The mum-of-one revealed that she is ‘so happy’ and ‘so grateful’ that she can ‘still get to go and hug him.’

‘I’m so grateful that when I go over there, and I give him a hug, whether he recognises me or not, that he can feel the love I’ve given him, and I can feel it back from him.

‘That I still see a spark of him, and he can feel the love that I’m giving.’

‘So that feels really nice,’ she added.

Rumer shared that she brings her daughter, Louetta, along for the visits.

‘I just feel grateful that I get to go over there with Luetta and we get to spend time with him, and I get to feel the love that he has for me, and that I can love him and be with him.’

After a fan inquired about her dad’s health, Rumer replied: ‘People always ask me this question, and I think it’s kind of a hard one to answer, because the truth is that anybody with FTD (frontotemporal dementia) is not doing great.’

‘He’s doing okay, in terms of somebody who is dealing with frontotemporal dementia.’

‘The only way that I feel like I could answer that in a way that was like “He’s doing great!” – you know, it’s like, those parameters don’t really work anymore I guess, in my mind.’

It’s been nearly four years since Bruce’s Emma Heming released a joint statement via Instagram with her two daughters and Bruce’s ex-wife Demi, and daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah announcing that Willis was stepping back from acting amid his aphasia diagnosis.

In the March 30, 2022, statement, they said that Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities.

‘As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.

‘This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support.’

They continued: ‘We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him. As Bruce always says, “Live it up” and together we plan to do just that.’
