Demi Lovato gave her best attempt at Cynthia Erivo’s iconic high note from Wicked and left her fans shocked.
The singer-songwriter was celebrating her 33rd birthday with her husband Jutes and her longtime BFF Matthew Scott Montgomery at karaoke on Wednesday, August 20.

Her husband Jordan Lutes, 34, was also by her side on the special day and posted a sweet tribute in honor of her birthday.
Alongside a series of photos of them together, including at their Santa Barbara wedding in May, he gushed about his wife: ‘happy birthday to the love of my life. celebrating u every day for as long as I live. my lil partner in crime, I love u beyond words.’
Lovato’s close friend Montgomery shared a video of her showing off her vocals from her birthday, including belting out the impressive notes from Erivo’s version of Defying Gravity from Wicked.
Many of the former Disney star’s fans were all saying the same thing on X in reaction to the Cool for the Summer hitmaker’s rendition.
