The actress/singer, 32 — who got her start on Barney & Friends at age 10 before becoming Disney Channel royalty in her teens — had her hunky fiance Jordan Lutes by her side on the red carpet.
At one point, the couple shared a passionate kiss for the cameras before heading inside NeueHouse Hollywood where the screening was held.
Lovato also had the support of a slew of other former child stars, including That So Raven’s Raven-Symoné, Dance Moms alum JoJo Siwa and Lovato’s Camp Rock co-star Alyson Stoner, who also appear in the documentary out September 17.
Child Star explores the ‘highs and lows of growing up in the spotlight’ through the perspective of the child stars themselves.
The film marks Lovato’s directorial film debut in collaboration with acclaimed cinematographer Nicola Marsh.

Jordan — who is know professionally as ‘Jutes’ — looked in awe of his wife-to-be.
The musician, 33, towered over Lovato in an oversized black blazer, skinny trousers and a partially unbuttoned silk blouse.
The couple confirmed their romance in August 2022 and Jordan proposed to the Disney Channel alum in December 2023.
Speaking with Teen Vogue this week, Lovato said that she ‘lives and breathers’ for the ‘connection’ she and Jordan share.
Lovato added: ‘Everything I do, I wish I was with him. I see my future with him. I see growing old with him.’
