Delta Goodrem has been left heartbroken after being forced to pull out of a highly anticipated US show at the last minute.
The Born To Try hitmaker, 40, was in discussions with the NRL to take to the stage at the anticipated rugby league season opener in Las Vegas this weekend.
However, the show has been cancelled due to the ongoing impact of the recent devastating LA fires, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.
In January, Delta was forced to evacuate her Los Angeles home and since the devastating fires has since been spending time in her native Australia.
The publication reported it was ‘unclear’ if Goodrem would be in town for the event with the singer and the NRL agreeing it would too ‘difficult to lock down’.
In the absence of Goodrem, LA-based Aussies the Stafford Brothers and Conrad Sewell are now set to perform at the season opener at Allegiant Stadium.

‘I love this beautiful city. It has always been a home away from home for me,’ she captioned the heartbreaking image.
‘My heart is broken and the feeling in the smoke-filled air is devastating. Praying for everyone.’
In the next slide, she wrote: ‘It’s difficult to even start with the words to truly express the emotions so many are feeling right now.’
