And MasterChef Australia couple Sarah Todd and Declan Cleary celebrated the exciting new chapter with a glamorous baby shower over the weekend.
Posting to Instagram on Monday, Sarah, 38, and Declan, 27, shared a gallery of photos documenting the intimate affair, which took place at a charming property in Melbourne.
The couple were surrounded by friends and family for the celebration, including Sarah’s 14-year-old son Phoenix, who she shares with ex-fiancé Devinder Garcha, and the couple’s beloved dog.
Guests were treated to a spread of cakes and finger food, including biscuits that were iced with the words ‘Baby Todd-Cleary’ and a yellow cake with white baby-themed icing.
The party spilled from the dining area to the backyard, which featured a large game of Jenga for guests to enjoy.

It appears the couple have not revealed the sex of their child, as they chose to decorate with gender-neutral colours and signage.
Sarah was every inch the yummy mummy, dressed in a denim peplum top and white silk maxi skirt that revealed a glimpse of her blossoming belly.
She completed her look with brown Hermès sandals, a Van Cleef & Arpels pendant necklace and a matching bracelet.
Declan, meanwhile, sported a white button-down shirt embroidered with a heart at the breast, and matching white trousers.
He added a stylish watch and black sneakers to his sleek ensemble.
Photos showed the pair posing with guests and raising a toast to their growing family.
‘Magical baby shower weekend. Thank you to all of you for making it so special,’ Sarah wrote in the caption, before revealing Declan had organised the event.
‘And Dec, you went above and beyond pulling this whole thing together. Between the surprise details, the thoughtful touches, I’m still completely blown away.’

Sarah, who turned 38 on Sunday, added: ‘From the baby shower to my birthday today, could this weekend possibly be any bigger? Feeling so grateful and so full. Love you all so much.’
The couple, who went public with their relationship earlier this year after meeting on the 17th season of MasterChef Australia, took to Instagram earlier this month to announce the exciting news of Sarah’s pregnancy.
‘We are overjoyed to share that our little family is growing,’ they began.
‘These past months have been some of the most precious of our lives. A sacred time of holding this news close, letting it sink in, and soaking up all the emotions with those dearest to us.’
They went on: ‘It has been such a gift to sit in the wonder of it all, imagining the beautiful new chapter that lies ahead.’
The couple said they felt ‘deeply blessed’ knowing their baby would be entering a world already brimming with ‘so much love’.
Between Sarah’s son Phoenix and Declan’s dog Sol, the happy couple gushed that there was ‘no shortage of cuddles, laughter, and warmth waiting to welcome the addition to our family.’
‘Our hearts are full to the brim, and we couldn’t be happier to finally share this joy with all of you,’ they wrote, before thanking their fans and followers for being part of the ‘special moment in their lives’.

Accompanying the sweet caption was a carousel of pictures, with one showing Declan holding a Clearblue pregnancy test while leaning into his pregnant girlfriend.
Sarah and Declan went public with their relationship in July, revealing that they had already moved in together following the high-pressure show.
They came clean about their secret romance in an interview with Stellar magazine.
Declan revealed that the pair ‘instantly got along’, which saw them spend lots of time together behind the scenes of MasterChef.
However, it wasn’t until Sarah landed in an elimination challenge that Declan’s feelings became apparent, and he knew he needed to tell her how he felt.
They also posed for the magazine, with Sarah looking stylish in denim as she embraced her beau.
For their first date, the pair visited the Grampians National Park for a romantic weekend away, exploring markets, eating at picturesque restaurants, and going for walks in the Central Victorian Highlands.
After wrapping filming on the show, Declan made the move from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Melbourne – along with his dog Sol – to be with Sarah and Phoenix.
