Deborra-Lee Furness is looking to the future following her shock split from husband Hugh Jackman in September.
The Australian actress, 68, returns to the screen in Force of Nature: The Dry 2, co-starring with Eric Bana in the sequel to the hit 2020 mystery film.
But in an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle, she revealed she has ‘big plans’ for her post-breakup career.
‘I’ve got a few [projects] up my sleeve, I’m working on a script with Rebecca Rigg, which I want to direct and act in,’ she said.
‘And who knows there might be a reprisal from the character I play [in Force of Nature]. Hey, maybe another sequel from a character I played many years ago in Shame,’ she added.

It comes after the Correlli actress ended her marriage with her husband, Hugh Jackman.
The Australian actor, 55, and his wife announced their shock split in September after 27 years of marriage, telling fans they separated ‘to pursue our individual growth’.
‘We have been blessed to share almost three decades together in a wonderful, loving marriage,’ the couple said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.

‘Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.
‘Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness.
‘We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition.’
The former couple signed the statement as ‘Deb and Hugh Jackman,’ adding: ‘This is the sole statement either of us will make.’
The pair had tied the knot in 1996 after crossing paths on set of Correlli in 1995.
During the course of their marriage, they adopted two children: son Oscar, 23, and daughter Ava, 18.
