Dax Shepard shared a hilarious video of his wife Kristen Bell on nitrous gas during a dermatologist appointment.
The 49-year-old podcaster took to his Instagram on Saturday to share a screen recording of a FaceTime with his 43-year-old actress wife who has been filming a Netflix series with Adam Brody recently.
Dax explained that his wife had been put under Pro-Nox which is an FDA cleared blend of 50/50 Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen according to its website.
Unfortunately screen recording a FaceTime call does not have sound so Dax posted the video – which was taken without Kristen’s knowledge – with his own commentary.
He revealed that his wife hilariously nicknamed the substance she was feeling the effects of ‘The Nox.’

He said: ‘Kristen called me from the dermatologist to tell me that she is on a nitrous called — she’s gonna say it. Pro-Nox. Yeah, and she said, “We call it The Nox.”
‘And then she’s acting insane and then I say, “Are you happy, did it make you feel happy?”‘
His wife then made an interesting face which looked like a mix of both crying and laughing which led to Dax laughing as he told his 3.9million followers: ‘I wish you could hear.’
Dax added: ‘Oh my God. She’s so gassed. Oh, she’s telling me she wishes she could feel this way all the time and who wouldn’t want to.’
He posted the video with the caption: ‘I decided to start screen recording 30 seconds into this FaceTime call Kristen made from the dermatologist office. Sadly screen recording, at least mine, doesn’t record audio. So hopefully this is the next best thing. (Also, protectors of KB, of which I’m one, she granted full consent [heart emoji]) @kristenanniebell’
Kristen definitely seemed to have a good sense of humor about it all as she commented on the Instagram post.
She wrote: ‘”If I didn’t get to tell u (sic) how much I love u (sic) in that moment I thought I might explode! [three red heart emojis]’
Bell and Shepard tied the knot in 2013 and share two children, Lincoln and Delta, aged 11 and 9, together.

The show’s creator, Erin Foster, shared this snap from the set on Tuesday
Erin Foster Tikhman wrote and created the Netflix show.
She recently gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of the show.
In the snap, Erin, who is expecting her first child with husband Simon Tikhman, watched Adam on a monitor. ‘Last daaaaaaay,’ she wrote in the post.
The production marks Kristen’s second Netflix series after producing and starring as lonely alcoholic Anna in the dismally-reviewed eight-episode limited series The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window back in 2022.
