Almost exactly a year later however, on November 8, she revealed she had been diagnosed with breast cancer six weeks before and had undergone successful surgery after discovering a lump in her breast while on the set of The Masked Singer.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Davina has previously revealed the items inside her fridge include lots of vegetables, protein and fruit to help with her healthy balance diet.

The TV personality said that she opts to shop in person so she can check out the deals in store and believes it helps to and variety to her weekly shop.

Speaking in a YouTube video she explained: ‘I’m going to be completely honest. So, if I’m eating a sticky toffee pudding then I will show you that I’m eating that.

‘I bet you’re surprised that there is packet noodles in my cupboard. I do have lots of nuts, seeds and grains.

‘Lots of wholemeal and non-wholemeal pasta, stock cubes, lots of popcorn. My naughty bit is… nuts.’

Opening her fridge Davina revealed that she had lots of edamame beans, left overs from Sunday lunch, lots of salad, vegetables and potatoes.

She admitted that while she ‘doesn’t agree’ with cured meats she did stock some in the fridge because her children enjoy them.

The presenter has three breakfasts on rotation, her ‘healthy one’ was inspired by Dr Megan Rossi and consists of fibre-filled granola with honey.

Her other breakfast options are a buttered crumpet or a bowl of porridge.

For her lunch in the clip, Davina fried sweetcorn with a tiny bit of butter while cooking sliced halloumi to eat with a side of salad, cooked carrots, falafel and hummus. She used lettuce leaves as wraps which she filled with items from her plate.

Dinner, which Davina aimed to get made in 30 minutes, was chicken mini fillets with corn on the cob, potatoes and steamed broccoli.

The presenter admitted that after dinner is where she struggles as she craves sweet food.

Later, in a bid to combat her need for something sweet she had a couple of squares of dark chocolate and a purple tea.

Davina has been incredibly open about her battle with drugs over the years and at age 25 when she became teetotal, she turned to therapy for her healing.

She used substances such as heroin, speed and weed as a teen, before she sought help over 20 years ago.

In December 2023, Davina spoke about how she hasn’t had an alcoholic drink in more than 30 years and admitted she has been quite ‘rigid’ with herself in life.

The presenter has since thrown herself into her health and fitness journey, but speaking to The Telegraph, Davina explained she only actually works out for half an hour four times a week.

She said: ‘People are like, “What? Oh, we thought you were doing two hours, five days a week!” It’s because I post snippets of my half-hour workouts and everyone thinks I’m doing it all the time.’

Admitting she used to spend more time in the gym, Davina added: ‘I worked out for longer in my 30s because I didn’t realise I could get the same results while doing less.

‘If you work out efficiently for half an hour, you’ll get as much as from a sloppy 45 minutes to an hour. I’m always time poor: three kids, work, meetings, there’s always stuff to do, and I don’t have an hour and a half or two hours to work out every day.’

Revealing her current workout regime, Davina explained she goes to her home gym after her morning coffee for a 30 minute workout two to three times a week.

Focusing on strength training she uses her own health platform Davina Own Goals and follows one of the many workouts on there.

The star uses 0.5kg weighted gloves for arm exercises as well as 5kg or 6kg weights and will also wear a weighted vest for full body exercises like squats.

She also likes to go out on a run once a week as she revealed she had been doing Couch to 5k to get her fitness back after her brain surgery.

This week, Davina revealed that she has restarted running again after her cancer surgery as she completed her first jog.

Sharing a selfie to her social media grid, she appeared elated as she smiled at the camera while wearing a red beanie hat.

Davina previously explained how the disease had been caught ‘very very early’ but would still require radiotherapy.

In the candid clip, the star said she was opening up in a bid to help others, just like she did when doctors operated on her rare benign brain tumour in November 2024.

She recalled first discovering the lump while on the set of the ITV singing show, before a sign in the toilets at the Lorraine studios encouraged her to get checked.

Davina said: ‘I just wanted to tell you I have had breast cancer, I found a lump a few weeks ago and it came and went.

‘But then when I was filming The Masked Singer, the show Lorraine put signs on the back of their toilet doors saying “check your breasts” and every time I went for a wee I did that, and it was still there.

‘So I underwent a biopsy and it was indeed breast cancer and I had it taken out in a lumpectomy nearly three weeks ago.’

Davina went on to discuss the results of her surgery and how doctors had now given her the all clear.
