It’s ITV’s middle-age answer to Love Island as Davina McCall plays matchmaker alongside the contestants’ children in the new series My Mum, Your Dad.
And it seems the TV presenter already has more exciting plans for the series as she hinted she is keen to launch a celebrity version too.
Eyeing a second series after the show’s success so far, Davina told The Sun how much she loves the show and adores seeing love blossom.
‘I want to present this show for the rest of my life. A celebrity version would be so good — how many single celebs are there? I’m interviewing now,’ she said excitedly.
The star gushed about how amazing it is to watch the relationships form organically, revealing that since the show she has received updates from the couples.

‘I’ve since been sent photos of couples. The show works, I really am Cupid.’
The show’s final is due to air this Friday as viewers will be given a last look into the Surrey mansion where the single parents have been dating under the secret watchful eye of their grown-up kids.
All is to be revealed on Friday’s episode as the lovers will learn that their children have been watching them this whole time
Quizzing the children, Davina will ask Kaliel and Mazey if they approve of their parents Natalie and Paul’s connection as well as finding out whether Zach and Tia think parents Elliott and Sharon are suited.
Davina discussed how great she thinks it is that the couple’s will already have their children’s blessings which will hopefully overcome a major obstacle in these kind of relationships.
She said: ‘That’s an enormous hurdle in a new relationship. If the kids don’t like each other, it’s game over.’
Earlier this week on the programme, Roger admitted that he felt ‘smitten’ with Janey after the two spent the night together in a private suite together on Monday night’s episode.
Roger woke up with a clearer head as he told the group he has ‘butterflies’ for her.

Roger lost his beloved wife Joanne – and Jess’s mother – to cancer last year and he told on the show how she went to sleep on the sofa and never woke up.
Asked by Clayton if he felt a romantic and sexual connection with Janey, Roger swiftly replied: ‘Yes! It was like I’ve just been hit with a baseball bat on the back of the head.’
Watching behind-the-scenes, Roger’s daughter Jess said: ‘Oh, he is smitten, It’s just hit him.’
Roger continued: ‘Janey really puts a smile on my face and I’ve definitely lowered my barriers and I’m feeling quite smitten actually and butterflies in my stomach. A bit school boy-ish. It’s a nice feeling.’
My Mum, Your Dad airs on Thursday at 9pm on ITV1 and the final drops straight after on ITVX before it is shown live on Friday at 10pm.
