The TV icon, 57, and her hairdresser boyfriend, 49, have been together since 2019 and are regularly seen packing on the PDA at red carpet events.

Since her recent surgery, which saw her have a brain tumour removed, rumours of a wedding have been spreading as Michael very much supported her.

But during their latest podcast episode, Making the Cut, Davina made it very clear whether she would say yes and tie the knot.

She said: ‘We’re not getting married by the way, anyone who is thinking about this, we are not getting married but, if you are getting married, an amazing thing to have on top of your cake.’

She and Michael met when he styled her long brunette locks during her Big Brother stints.

With so much in common, the pair stayed good friends until they realised they had romantic feelings for each other.

They went public with their relationship in 2019 and by January 2023, Michael had moved in with the star.

Davina revealed that during her brain tumour surgery was ‘the most testing time’ for her partner Michael but revealed that it has brought them closer than ever.

Speaking to pal Steven Bartlett on her Begin Again podcast, Davina admitted that she and Michael were ‘really really really close’ ahead of her operation, but believes the toughest time for him came while she was intensive care for several days.

She said: ‘What’s been interesting, is that I think it has been the most testing time for him ever, to see me who is ”Mrs in Control of everything.”

‘I mean beforehand, the fear and everything bought us really really really close together but I think the first month for him in hospital was so painful and difficult and hard, and that Whatsapp group was his therapy, his saving grace, I don’t know what he would have done without it.

‘But this is the amazing thing about him as a man, he is everything.

‘I think I was in intensive care for two/three days in the end.. I htink for him I think for Michael those few days at the beginning, even after three or four days we had a breaktrough.’

During the interview, Davina added that the surgery completely changed her relationship with her stepmother Gabby, admitting she’s ‘fallen in love with her in a major way for the first time.’

Speaking on the programme, she said: ‘Doctors found a brain tumour and after thinking about it for a while I decided it would be best to have it removed.’

Davina struggled to hold back tears, with the camera crew being forced to step in and ask if she was ok.

As her voice cracked, she added: ‘This whole experience, kind of weighing up all the risks and all the positive things about having this tumour removed made me really think deeply about what life is really about and what matters when life gets tough.

‘I needed the brilliance and the skills of lots of experts to make me okay.

‘And oh my goodness, I’ve needed the love and support of friends and my family, and in particular, my Michael to get me through.’

Davina concluded: ‘It really made me think that there are so many people who are in trouble and danger and they don’t have the support that I had. I was really lucky.’

Davina endured a six-hour operation to remove a 14mmm colloid cyst from her brain on November 15, after a health check discovered the benign tumour.
