Cricket legend David Warner put down the bat and picked up a gun on a helipad in Melbourne while filming an action scene on the Yarra River.
The semi-retired athlete, 37, looked every inch an action movie villain on Tuesday as he rocked fake tattoos on his neck and hands while brandishing the golden prop weapon.
Jumping out of a bright red helicopter, the batsman could be seen enjoying a large lollipop in character as he donned a snazzy white ensemble.
He terrorised the machine gun-carrying suited men surrounding him on the floating pier, pretending to shoot one of them with his lollipop.
David then escalated the altercation by pulling out his golden gun and pointing it at one of the men who threw back his head as though he was shot.
The former test vice-captain was all smiles between takes as he appeared to enjoy his new larger-than-life role.
David performed several takes of the scene, hopping in and out of the helicopter before pretending to shoot one of the suited men.
The project he is filming has yet to be announced, but it is believed to be for Bollywood as he recently did work for an Indian advertisement company.

Earlier this year, he unleashed his inner Bollywood superstar in a hilarious ad for fintech company CRED Unified Payments Interface for their payment transfer app.
In the commercial, David is seen chatting on the phone to a movie director who asks the sporting great if he can have a discount on some match tickets.
‘If you have CRED UPI you can get cash back. But if you just have normal UPI you will have to do me a favour for a discount,’ David tells him.
The footage then cuts to David dressed up as a traditional Bollywood movie star on the set of an action film after getting the director to cast him in the leading role.
The hilarious clip then shows him filming several scenes for the film, including one where he performs an upbeat dance with his co-stars.

It then cuts to David dressed up as a medieval warrior about to do battle, and in an amusing twist, he holds up a cricket bat in his hands instead of a sword.
Unfortunately, Warner does not appear suitable for the role, as he accidentally breaks some props as he stumbles on set.
‘Cut! Can I get a kangaroo instead?’ David asks the crew as he sits on a prop horse.
David recently announced his retirement from both one-day international and test cricket but hasn’t left his passion for the sport behind him.

While his offer to come out of retirement for the Champions League in August was politely declined by Cricket Australia, David has moved on to an obscure league.
The swashbuckling former Australian opener is officially a cricket gun for hire, with his most recent appearance being in a T10 league in the Cayman Islands.
He played for the Boca Raton Trailblazers in MAX60, with Boca Raton, Florida being ironically the most popular place for retirement in the US.
David is married to former ironwoman Candice Warner, with whom he shares daughters Ivy Mae, 10, Indi Rae, eight, and Isla Rose, five.

He kept his eyes hidden behind a pair of dark sunglasses for much of the day
