David Haye’s infamous ‘throuple’ drama has reportedly sparked the development of a new TV show about couples exploring polyamory.
The boxer, 44, and his girlfriend Sian Osbourne, 33, have generated huge interest in their ‘open’ relationship over the years, with a production firm said to be planning to use this as the basis of a new series.
David and Sian have been dating since 2020 but in a break with the societal norm of monogamy, the couple have often opened up their relationship to include a third person.
And the celebrity duo have hit the headlines after being romantically linked to numerous famous faces including Saturdays singer Una Healy and Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan.
According to The Sun, TV production firm Brinkworth has made an advertisement looking for couples who are also thinking of trying out a change from monogamy.
The TV show would follow the participants’ journeys as they explore opening their relationship or engaging in polyamory.

The ad states: ‘Have you been questioning mono-gamy? A major broadcaster is making a documentary exploring the journey from monogamy to ethical non-monogamy or polyamory.
‘We are casting couples who are thinking of exploring an open relationship or are in the early stages of exploring this relationship style.
‘If this sounds like where you’re at, we would love to hear from you. Reach out for a no-obligation chat.’
It marks the second throuple-based TV series that is allegedly inspired by David and Sian’s relationship.

After picking who they want to go on a blind date with, they then take the extraordinary step of moving in together just 24 hours later, to explore what their future might look like.
But in a gripping plot-twist, the rejected love matches then makes a shocking surprise return and also moves into the shared house to form a love triangle.
At the end of the experience, each single must make a momentous, gut-wrenching decision as they have to choose which of their two matches to continue dating in pursuit of long-term love.

A second series has reportedly already been confirmed, with a source telling The Sun in the summer: ‘Throuples is a buzz word in dating right now so the first season of Love Triangle caught viewers’ imagination, and produced explosive telly and some really raunchy moments.
‘On a deeper level, the programme also dug into the huge spectrum of what love looks like these days — it’s not always the cookie-cutter boy-meets-girl story we see on the likes of Love Island.
‘Producers hoped to reflect how dating in the real world isn’t always one size fits all, and both critics and viewers seemed to agree.’
The public interest in throuple reached a peak in 2023, when it was reported that David was in a three-way relationship with both Sian and Una, claims roundly denied by the pop star.
The rumours were fuelled by the group posting cosy snaps of the trio on holiday in Morroco, both on the beach and while out for an intimate dinner.
However, Una later insisted that she was never part of a ‘throuple’, revealing the only person she was dating was David – although he was simultaneously dating Sian.
The Saturdays singer put an end to the unconventional relationship after ‘growing tired of the negative attention’ it generated.
While she then released the song Walk Away in June 2023, about her situation with the long-term couple, and claimed she had been ‘hoodwinked.’

Speaking about the drama on Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally’s My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, Una said she was after a monogamous relationship with David.
She explained: ‘Dating HIM is the right term because that’s how it was, it wasn’t a throuple. We had a lovely relationship.’
As Joanne quipped, ‘you were hoodwinked into a throuple’, Una agreed: ‘I was!’
While later that year, David and Sian were said to be dating actress Helen, after she was pictured chatting to to the couple at a Heineken after-party following a boxing event.
The mother-of-three confirmed the romance in September last year on Celebs Go Dating, becoming emotional as she admitted she was in love with David.
Breaking into tears on the show, Helen explained to Anna Williamson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn that the relationship got difficult after she struggled with not being the only woman.
She said: ‘It’s really hard for me to talk about 1736474790. He had a girlfriend and an open relationship. I didn’t mean to fall in love with him, but I did.
‘We did have this amazing connection together – we were like fire. It was weird – I think he does love his girlfriend and he loves me as well. It just brings me to a part in my life that was quite dark.’

When Anna brought up that the relationship was reported as a ‘throuple’ in the media, Helen said: ‘No [it wasn’t]. I was in love with him. I wouldn’t have enjoyed watching the man I was in love with have sex with another woman, that’s not for me.
‘I had communication with his girlfriend, but I felt very guilty. I didn’t feel nice about it all. It really upsets me because I don’t mean to hurt other people but I was just really lonely.
‘I found it really difficult because it just happened. It’s not nice on another girl and I should’ve known better.’
In April, David and Sian said they were on the lookout for a new lady to join their ‘throuple’ the boxer posting a racy ad on dating app Raya.
The Sun reported that alongside snaps of himself David wrote in the ad: ‘I’m a selfish p***k, nothing is ever good enough, I always want more, rarely satisfied’.
‘I’ve got many deep-rooted complex demons, eating me up from the inside, manifesting in disgustingly shocking acts of . . . let’s not tell you everything and spoil the surprise!’.
Before adding: ‘We love positive energy, health and wellness, travelling to beautiful locations, watching sunrises/sets & connecting with like-minded hotties.’
