could not resist taking a final swipe at after he became the second campmate to be eliminated from - while Gemma Collins was also sent packing on Monday night.

During his exit chat, the champion boxer, 45, was asked about his fractious relationship with the Waterloo Road star, 37, which exploded on screen and has caused backlash for both men.

He said: 'No bad blood from my side. Look, I've been immersed in tough boxing gyms since I was ten years old. Literally fighting daily, much bigger men than myself, pushing myself to the limits, physically and mentally. I won the world heavyweight championship against a seven-foot Russian giant.

'When a grown man tells me that a fun TV show - where we're being paid handsomely every single day - is the hardest thing he's ever been through, it's just not a frequency I recognise.

'I was actually on my best behaviour there, honestly.

Then he warned: 'I've spoken to Adam, I've said my piece and some of what's still to air will speak for itself, I'll leave it there.'

'We were ready to call it a day and move on.'

The eliminations took place after Ashley Roberts won the latest challenge. She was safe from being eliminated and had to pick someone to save alongside her.

She picked Scarlett Moffatt who then had to pick another campmate to save, and so it continued.

David and Sinitta were the last two left and Beverley Callard picked Sinitta to save.

David the had to pick someone to take with him and chose the GC.

It comes after show hosts lan Donnelly blasted David in rare comments about the show.

Ant told the ITV1 show's podcast ... Unpacked of David's behaviour: 'It's not a nice watch. He just kind of picks and picks at them.

'Adam has had a bit of a tough time and he's not coping well. Clearly the banter has got too much. But David won't stop.'

Dec agreed: 'It's kind of crossed the line from banter. I don't find it comfortable to watch.'

Adam broke his silence in a candid social media post about their onscreen feud and confessed he felt 'broken' by David during their time filming in South Africa.

Adam said he struggled 'physically, mentally and emotionally' during his stint on the hit series and during some parts he 'didn't recognise himself.'

He added: 'He [David] broke me in there, he pushed me to my limits, and I've told David this and he's apologised, and that's that! I've moved on now, and I'm not one to hold a grudge.

The pair fell out on Thursday's episode after Adam sneaked chocolate for the team into camp, breaking one of ITV's rules and therefore two stars were docked, meaning smaller portion sizes.

It comes after show hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly blasted David in rare comments about the show

Adam said he struggled 'physically, mentally and emotionally' during his stint on the hit series and during some parts he 'didn't recognise himself' in a post this week

Adam then confronted David about his reaction to the dinner portion, with the soap actor calling him over and saying: 'Right, me and you outside now.'

Irritated David responded: 'We got a lot less than we would have had,' as the dessert was served up, to which Scarlett Moffatt ended the row, saying: 'Leave him alone.'

The men have received online backlash from fans of the show for their feuding, and in response, Adam addressed his behaviour on social media.

Sharing a photo looking upset in his hammock, the Waterloo Road star revealed his 'arthritis really took its toll' and he struggled to 'hide the pain'.

Adam was diagnosed with autoimmune psoriatic arthritis in 2023 and went on to open up about his 'biggest fight'

The full statement read: 'Not going to lie, this picture breaks my heart, as I know on the inside what I was dealing with and truth be told I thought it was all my fault. I now know that's not the reality…

'My time in I'm a Celebrity South Africa was one of the toughest things I've ever been through, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

'Watching it back hasn't been easy at all. There were moments I felt pushed to my absolute limit, and if I'm honest, times I didn't even recognise myself.'

'Living with arthritis is something I don't really talk about, as much as I should do…but in there it really took its toll.

'My biggest fight was pretending to put on a brave face and trying to hide the pain! That can be exhausting in itself. There were days my body just didn't want to keep going, but I did.

'I won't sit here and say I handled everything perfectly, because I didn't. I wish I had spoken up for myself sooner. I wish I stood my ground instead of trying to keep the peace, but I've learned that being kind doesn't mean being weak, and sometimes it takes going through tough moments to find your voice.'

Adam concluded by saying he is in a 'better place now' and that he is proud he didn't quit I'm A Celebrity and has since spoken to David, who has apologised to him.

He said: 'Since coming out, I've taken time to process everything, and I'm in a much better place now. I let go of the anger, had the conversations I needed to have, and chose peace.

'What I'm most proud of is at times like this, I wanted to walk, I wanted to quit but I didn't. Even when I wanted to walk away, even when it felt like too much, I never give up! and that means everything to me.

'He broke me in there, he pushed me to my limits, and I've told David this and he's apologised and that's that! I've moved on now, am not one to hold a grudge.

'But thank you for all your lovely messages and all the kind words.
