David Harbour Won’t Cut Ties with ‘Real-Life Madeline’ After Lily Allen’s Remarks

AFTER the real-life “Madeline” was revealed to be Natalie Tippett, Lily Allen’s ex David Harbour has refused to cut final ties with her.

Singer Lily, 40, split from Stranger Things actor David, 50, in December and it was later reported that he’d had a three-year affair.

The details of her open marriage and split were laid bare on her 14-track West End Girl album.

On the album, Lily took aim at David and claimed how he allegedly bedded a woman called “Madeline”, which was later revealed to be Natalie.

She came forward this week with a statement this week to categorically deny having a three-year affair with the actor.

However, despite this, Natalie and David have refused to cut ties with one another as they’re both still following each other on Instagram.

In a series of Instagram posts shared on Sunday, shortly after Lily’s performance on SNL, Natalie shared her side of the story.

She also said how she has felt “extremely violated” by the way she has been portrayed by Lily in the songs which are on her breakup album.

Natalie shared three slides to her Instagram stories where she began by penning: “I was hoping not to speak on this, but I am tired of this false narrative being pushed and circulated.”

She explained: “This was such a marginal part of my life, but it’s now turned into a major disruption.”

The next slide read: “I did not have a three year affair with anyone.

“I’m unsure why this person wants so badly to pit people against me or create this narrative that we both know is false based on the actual messages that I have saved between us.

“The same ones that have now been referenced in a song without my consent.”

She continued: “I don’t weaponise women against women for the behaviour of men, especially not in an open relationship.

“I’m wishing her all the success, money, healing and happiness and whatever else she’s seeking through this.”

Natalie, who is a single mother, then explained how she is “aware of the repercussions speaking out” may cause.

The track Madeline, from Lily’s album, is written as a letter to the woman David had an affair with.

“How long has it been going on? Is it just sex or is there emotion?” Lily sings at one point.

And in the song Tennis, Lily croons:  “So I read your text, and now I regret it.

“I can’t get my head round how you’ve been playing tennis. If it was just sex I wouldn’t be jealous

“You won’t play with me and who the f*** is Madeline?”

David is yet to publicly address Lily’s claims about Madeline as well as Natalie’s involvement in all of this.
