David Beckham’s Emotional Message to Son Brooklyn Amid Family Feud

DAVID Beckham has sent an emotional message to his son Brooklyn, as he shares an “olive branch”.

The eldest of the Beckham boys has been embroiled in a feud with his famous family, but his dad is keen to end it.

The family have been at odds for months, with various social media swipes back and forth.

However, it now looks like Brooklyn‘s dad is trying to reach out to his son and reunite with him before Christmas.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, David, 50 shared a photo of himself, wife Victoria, 51, and children Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20 and Harper, 14, celebrating his MLS title in Miami.

However, what was poignant in the post was that he also shared a throwback snap of himself with Brooklyn, 25, and his brothers after winning the same cup as a player with LA Galaxy in 2011 and 2012.

He captioned the snaps with: “License to cry.”

The sweet post could be seen as David’s olive branch to his son, as we approach Christmas.

CRUZ REACHES OUT

Just last week, Brooklyn’s youngest brother Cruz was also seentrying to end the feud once and for all.

Last week, Cruz shared a throwback picture on Instagram of himself with Brooklyn, his other brother Romeo and his dad David.

Next to the sweet snap, he wrote: “Love you guys.”

This is the first time Cruz has shared a photo with his brother since the feud began.

However, this isn’t the first time he has tried to reach out to him.

The week before, Cruz took to his social media posting a cryptic message hinting that the family rift is getting the better of him.

Alongside a close-up photo of his face he wrote: “Life is too short to be silence, at least talk it out,” with a crying face emoji.

It seemed to be a subtle plea to his older brother to reach out to him in a bid to hash things out.

VICTORIA’S OLIVE BRANCH

It comes after Brooklyn’s mum Victoria also sent out her own olive branch, proving she’s still hoping the feud can end in time for Christmas.

The fashion mogul took to her Instagram Stories last month to share a video from her mother Jackie’s home, where all the grandchildren’s Christmas stockings are up.

Notably tied to the fireplace was Brooklyn’s embroidered name on his very own stocking.

Speaking to the camera as she panned over the decorations, she said: “So I’m here at my mum and dad’s house and look how cute.

“They’ve got all of the grandchildren’s stockings up ready for Christmas.”

Victoria’s message shows that Brooklyn is still welcome at the Beckham household for Christmas and that he’s in the family’s thoughts.

The family have always been close at Christmas often sharing a barrage of sweet pics together over the previous years.

THE BIG FALLOUT

The once tight knit Beckham clan was pulled apart earlier this year when Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz failed to attend his dad’s 50th birthday party.

Since then, Brooklyn has stayed away from his famous family, missing several milestones because of this.

This included the premiere of mum Victoria’s Netflix documentary, and also her big Paris fashion show.

But the biggest of them all was him being a no show at dad David’s knighthood celebrations.

Brooklyn also failed to congratulate his dad on achieving the lifelong dream when the honours list was announced.
