During his trip to Seoul, David also marked the 30th anniversary of Adidas’ iconic Predator boots, posing for snaps with the newest take on the show, as well as a shirt from his Manchester United heyday.
He captioned his post: ‘1994 Predator to today’s 2024 Predator. 30 years of predator wow… special boot ⚽️ and a special guest @hoooooyeony.’
The budget meal is a far cry from David’s recent trip to Barcelona’s top seafood restaurant Botafumeiro, where he was spoon-fed baby eels by the very attentive manager.
During his visit, Beckham revealed he was tucking into a plate of percebes – which are known as the world’s most expensive seafood.
The delicacy can cost up to £400 per lb and will set buyers back about £80 for a portion of between 15 and 20.
Percebes are so expensive because of their scarcity and it is also incredibly difficult and dangerous to retrieve them.
Despite the hefty price tag, percebes don’t have the most appetising exterior, with some comparing them to dragon claws and dinosaur toes.
The price was no problem for Beckham – who is reportedly worth around £350million – as he revealed he loves tucking into them when in Spain.
