Dave Chappelle reportedly stormed off the stage on Wednesday after a fan pulled out his cell phone.
The comedian, 50, who had audience members walk out on performances in October when he charged Israel with ‘war crimes,’ was performing at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida when he made his own abrupt exit.
The comic was on the second of a five-night gig at the venue when he apparently caught a fan using his phone.
The Miami Herald reported the Emmy winner notified security about the flagrant flouting of the rules and scolded the audience before shaking his head as he exited the stage.
Fans forked out $100 a ticket to see the Chappelle’s Show star perform at the venue, which holds up to 7,000 people, located about 20 miles north of Miami Beach.

Those in the audience did not take kindly the to incident and shared their fury on social media.
‘Few things make you more misanthropic than going to a theater,’ they began.
‘I saw Dave Chappelle at the Hard Rock tonight and he (rightfully so) dropped the mic and stormed off the stage. My favorite comedian ever, my first time seeing him I was so excited and some p**s had to self-insert,’ one fan contended.
Another was more direct in their condemnation writing, ‘Some f**king a**hole pulled out his phone at the #DaveChappelle show at the Hollywood Hard Rock.’
The rules for the evening were stipulated clearly. Fans were supposed to place their phones in a neoprene pouch before entering the theater.
The Hard Rock Live’s website stated that the show would be ‘device and electronics free, per the artist’s request.’
And before the show began, DJ Trauma, who provided the on-stage introductions for Chappelle, warned audience members phones were not allowed and they would be kicked out if caught using them, according to Fox 29.
The Undercover Brother star is one of the biggest draws in comedy and is not shy about creating his own controversy when tackling certain topics.

Chappelle, who is known for making controversial jokes goes after the trans community and the disabled in his new show, telling the audience, ‘they’re not as organized as the gays. And I love punching down’
He has been widely criticized in recent years for a steady stream of jokes involving transgender people, which many critics have labeled transphobic.
In his 2017 Netflix special, he spoke about pitching a movie idea to a Hollywood producer about a superhero who gets his power via raping women.
Other critics have complained that some of his recent stand-up specials have featured long digressions that played more like airing of grievances than comedic routines.
Fans, who were deprived of the full show last week, might be able to see what they missed with Chappelle’s new Netflix special The Dreamer, which debuted December 31.
