Darcy Moore’s Sweet Message to Girlfriend Sparks AFL Buzz

AFL star Darcy Moore has sent fans wild over a simple seven-word comment on a post shared by partner Dee Salmin.

Dee, 31, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a series of photos that showed the stunning dress she wore to the Brownlow Medal count on Monday.

She stepped out in a dramatic strapless white gown with a keyhole cut-out under the bust.

The couture creation featured intricate beading, shimmering sequins and textured floral embellishments.

With her blonde hair slicked back in a bun, Dee accentuated her look with minimal accessories and glowing, bronzed makeup.

‘Making chaos look pretty,’ the Triple J star captioned the images.

While the comment section was filled with people praising Dee’s eye-catching red carpet look, it was a post from Darcy, 29, that took the cake.

‘I am extremely in love with you,’ Darcy wrote.

Darcy’s comment elicited a flurry of likes from fans as well as some gushing comments.

‘Will never get over this moment,’ one follower swooned.

Another offered a similar: ‘I still haven’t picked myself up off the floor after this.’

It comes after the couple sent fans into a frenzy following their Brownlow appearance on Monday.

Dee took to the social media platform to document her night at the glittering event.

Fans were quick to point out that the Brownlow ensemble was very bridal, hinting that Darcy should propose to his longtime love.

‘Giving wedding vibes just saying,’ one person wrote.

Another chimed in: ‘That dress is stunning. I thought they got married!’

‘What a beautiful couple. You both scrub up nicely,’ one fan sweetly penned, summing up the sentiment of many.

Meanwhile, Dee has developed a reputation for speaking out about her very ‘woke’ views.

In July last year, she revealed that she doesn’t want to live with the premiership-winning Collingwood skipper.

Dee hosts Triple J radio’s The Sunday Hook Up sex education show, and she  spoke in detail about their romance on another ABC show, Ladies, We Need To Talk…Back.

‘I don’t live with my partner at the moment and we have such different, independent, busy lives,’ she said.

‘We get to have so much of what we had when we were still single in our relationship.

‘But I wonder how much you can actually upkeep that when you do end up living together.

‘So much of it is hetero-dynamic learnt behaviours you might fall into.’

It appears Dee was using those five key words to indicate she and Moore don’t conform to the heterosexual gender stereotype of women taking on the bulk of housework and domestic duties when they live with a partner.

She added: ‘I also said to my partner we are going to have separate bedrooms. I just think it’s so important.

‘I think that it’s something you really need to make sure that you’re taking care of and working on… your partner can’t be everything.’
