Danny Cipriani and his wife Victoria Rose have split up and called time on their two-and-a-half-year marriage, MailOnline can reveal.
The couple who married in April 2021 are set to call in divorce lawyers after they parted a fortnight ago.
A source in their inner circle and close to the couple revealed that up until the summer, all had been well in the marriage.
But the source added: ‘Victoria had been increasingly unhappy over the last few months. Things got tense and then she saw some text messages on his phone and it led to some difficult rows between them and they have now split up.’
The former England rugby ace, 36, has moved out of their Kent home and is staying at another address, although he has been seen visiting there over the last week, the source added.

’They are both devastated at the breakdown of their marriage’ the source said.

The former England rugby ace, 36, hasn’t posted about his partner for months, while health care campaigner Victoria, 42, appears to have ditched her wedding ring.
On Sunday, she posted a video on her Instagram Stories featuring an old woman dancing on a beach with a bird on her head alongside the caption ‘Me in the middle of another existential crisis’.
The couple married in April 2021 having started dating in June 2020.
Danny proposed to mother-of-two Victoria weeks after they first met and she’s previously been credited for taming his womanising ways.
A source close to the couple told MailOnline when they unfollowed each other: ‘It’s strange behaviour as they have always been so vocal about each other on social media.
‘The fact the content has suddenly stopped and they unfollow each other is hugely surprising.’
Victoria shared a picture with Danny in October with a cryptic caption about life ‘having its ups and downs.’
She shared: ‘Lately, I’ve been feeling a little highly strung, but I wanted to take a moment to share with you all that it’s okay. Life has its ups and downs, and right now, I’m welcoming this as a time of growth and learning. Every challenge and obstacle that comes my way is just another lesson in disguise, guiding me towards becoming a better version of myself.

Danny’s last post featuring Victoria was in April – a gushing love note to mark their three-year wedding anniversary.
His recent posts have mainly focused on promoting his bombshell autobiography Who Am I?, which was released in September.
As well as discussing his relationships with famous exes including Kelly Brook, Kirsty Gallagher and Katie Price in the memoir, Danny also gushes about Victoria and credits her for turning his life around.
He revealed the pair lost a baby, named River, but the tragedy brought them closer together.
Danny said: ‘Have I been in love with women in the past? Since meeting Victoria, I’m pretty sure I haven’t.
‘I’ve met lots of great women, and had some great experiences, but none of them made me feel safe or comfortable enough to reveal the real me.’
Danny and Victoria met via mutual friends and struck up an immediate bond.

Confirming the announcement on Instagram, weeks before she became a grandmother, he wrote: ‘I love waking up with you every morning, not knowing which one of our personalities is going to arise, and how we fall in love with each other over and over again. You make every day so much better, I can’t wait to get home from training every day to see you. I can’t imagine life without you.
‘You make me want to be the best man i possibly can for you and our family. You are my now wife to be. I can’t wait to marry you in October. You’re my lover my best friend, you are so loyal, incredibly intelligent, sexy with so much class.’
The sports star continued: ‘I learn from you all the time. I will never get complacent, you deserve the greatest love every day. We could be doing absolutely nothing for days on end as long as I’m with you.’

Victoria admitted she thought Danny was ‘an arrogant wally’ before they started dating, but he quickly won her over.
She said: ‘The first time I met Danny, I thought he was a bit of a wally. He wasn’t boastful — but he did have an air of arrogance.
‘And while I assumed he disliked me, we couldn’t stop sending each other messages. One time he texted, “Hello beautiful. Send me a pic.” He meant a naked pic.’
The womanisng former Wasps ace claimed in his memoir he would sleep with up to three women a day before he settled down with his new partner.
He described how he would lure ‘everyone from porn stars to actresses to girls I meet at the coffee shop’.
On the opposite sex, he says: ‘Usually when I talk to women, I’m playing a role, a game, only revealing enough to get that familiar buzz. But Victoria can see straight through me.
‘She’s happy to call me out on my bulls**t. I wouldn’t say I enjoy it, but it’s certainly more stimulating than I’m used to.’
Danny never believed he was a sex addict, despite his lothario reputation, expressing constant pursuit of sex originated from a ‘place of pain’ which stemmed from childhood.
His dad left to live in Tobago when Danny was 10, and his parents separated when he was two.
He explained: ‘The push-pull from the female felt very similar to home. There was a sadness to it.
‘Even though on the outside it looks like I’m having a great time with all these women, deep down I’m constantly letting people down.
‘Constantly hurting people. Constantly hurting myself because I’m acting from a pace of pain.’
And on their heartbreaking baby loss, he wrote: ‘His spirit united two loving, determined individuals, opened them up and sent them on a wonderful journey of discovery.’

Danny dated former Big Breakfast presenter Kelly Brook between 2008 and 2010.
In his memoir, he claimed the pair later shared a tryst in secret in Mauritius, when she had moved onto his former teammate Thom Evans, who is now engaged to Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, he said: ‘I felt like it was fair game… I felt like what was mine wasn’t mine any more. I was friends with Thom. It was definitely a difficult scenario.’
The former couple had a tumultuous relationship, and Danny also reveals how their stormy romance unravelled spectacularly for the first time when they went on holiday to Las Vegas in the summer of 2010.
Kelly reportedly encouraged him to enjoy a lap dance in a strip club in a situation which then got out of hand.
After he started flirting with the stripper, he told her he was breaking up with Kelly, and when she found out he recalls that she came out and slapped him.
The situation escalated and Kelly had to be restrained by several bouncers.
The chaos of the evening took a huge toll on Danny, who headed back to the hotel and proceeded to self-harm with a piece of broken glass.
Danny said: ‘I felt like I just… I couldn’t express how I felt because I had so much within that I hadn’t dealt with. So that’s what I felt the route to take was.’
The former England fly-half also confirmed in Who Am I? he slept with US actress Lindsay Lohan and glamour model Katie Price.

He claims to have turned down offers from teams in Japan, but is still not officially retired, hinting he would consider a new challenge if the opportunity arose.
