A Dancing On Ice star has been forced to pull out of the popular ITV show following a shocking back injury which left them being rushed to hospital.
EastEnders actor Charlie Brooks has been left without a partner after their professional dancer Eric Radford had to pull out due to an injury.
It’s a huge blow for Charlie and Eric as they were only days away from performing their new routine.
Announcing the news, Dancing On Ice’s official X account revealed that he sustained his injury during rehearals.
Alongside a picture of the pro skater, the account penned: ‘Unfortunately, Eric Radford has sustained an injury during rehearsals.
‘Following medical advice, he will not be able to skate with Charlie Brooks this week. Brendyn Hatfield will skate with Charlie.
‘We wish Eric a quick recovery and hope to see him back on the ice next week.’

Speaking about the shock injury, Charlie told the Sun: ‘Eric had an injury in his back and then his quad wasn’t firing properly so he’s having to have an MRI and has been told he has to have this week off the ice, which is so gutting.
‘It’s such a shame, he’s my number one and I will be lost without him.
‘But I’m trying to flip it and think that it will be exciting to be able to skate with someone else, and Brendyn is wicked so it will be nice to get to know him a little bit.’
But viewers will not miss Charlie this week as he is now training with Brendyn Hatfield and had worked against the clock to get him up to speed with the routine.
